Yesterday, I had the pleasure of sharing the stage (and a fabulous lunch) at the Valencia Digital Summit VDS with Zvonimir Ratkovski from the European Investment Fund (EIF), Markus Jennemyr from SeQura (former CS colleague 💚), and Nils Sceery from Citi to discuss financing upskilling in Europe. With around 200 million people in Europe's active workforce, the importance of upskilling and reskilling is undeniable. The key questions remain: how fast and how often? The potential to enhance productivity in Europe is immense but requires a cohesive strategy connecting AI, upskilling, and capital markets for scale. (I am very keen to be involved in these conversations) We have launched Mydra, a new upskilling platform focused on AI's impact on the job market.
