With a diverse background in industrial engineering and taxation, Carla is making significant strides in the manufacturing industry. 🔍 Dive into her story and learn about her impactful contributions. 👩🔬 Carla is an Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineer from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya with a Master’s degree in Taxation from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Her professional journey began in a university association, leading her to co-found THEKER Robotics and become its COO. With expertise in taxation and agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum, Carla has effectively managed and administered numerous projects. 💡 THEKER's solutions emerged from identifying market needs and leveraging diverse expertise. Carla's team focuses on efficiency and sustainability in manufacturing, introducing innovative approaches to streamline processes, minimise waste, and enhance product quality. These solutions are vital for economic growth and environmental sustainability. 👩🏭 Carla encourages women to pursue careers in manufacturing, highlighting the field's abundant opportunities for significant impact. She advises embracing challenges as pathways to growth and emphasizes the value of unique perspectives and skills in driving the industry forward. Carla believes that women's contributions can shape the future of manufacturing, inspiring the next generation of female leaders. We have just participated in one of the most prominent fairs in the industrial and robotics sector ADVANCED FACTORIES, where we presented our vision of robotics and Deep Learning in partnership with the professionals from Mitsubishi Electric - Factory Automation ES. Among more than 200 participating companies, we have been awarded as the most disruptive start-up of 2024. We would like to thank the jury Esther Izquierdo Martínez, Joan Guasch, José Ramón Sierra, Diego Galar Pascual and Javier González for this recognition, as well as all the other finalists for their amazing projects. In addition to receiving this prestigious award, we had the honor of hearing the exciting speech from the Minister of Industry and Tourism Jordi Hereu, who emphasized the importance of innovation in our sector and the crucial role that start-ups play in industrial transformation.
