From data dividends to employee ownership to community land trusts – The Ownership Economy Summit covered all the ways to own your own piece of prosperity.  🎤 The Ownership Economy's co-founder Martin S. outlined the case for mainstreaming ownership in his opening remarks, “a resilient economy relies on us crafting smart incentives and organizational structures that reward those who participate, steer, and contribute value—both quantitative and qualitative—to the firms and ecosystems that define an abundant society.” https://lnkd.in/e3y3srNm The summit discussions underscored the financial tailwinds that occur when stakeholders own a piece of the operation – participants are more efficient with capital, more incentivized to exceed KPIs and more fulfilled as they are afforded the opportunity to build wealth. CSOPs are Company Share Option Plans.  ESOPs are Employee Stock Ownership Plans. 🏘️ Home ownership is no longer about paying off your grandma's 30 year mortgage, now there is a path to ownership through community land trusts, land cooperatives or leases that pay dividends and offer early payment rewards.  💻Strong succession planning and governance can help sustain stewardship ownership for mission driven founders.
