#REPMUS24 finilized and the participation of #UTEK was successful. Both USVs #Kaluga operated by UTEK's team and #Kunai operated by #Armada team took part in several all-time #maritimeoperations. #Kaluga was the only #USV participating in the last day demo to Distinguish Navy Visitors. This last event consisted of a simulation of amphibious beach landing and #Kaluga provided continuous support and coverage during the operation. During these days in Troia, UTEK team held bi-lateral meetings with different #navies' representatives who showed interest in the company capabilities. #USV #Kaluga faced new challenges in #REPMUS24 morning sessions with some more missions related to #ISR supporting #Armada (SP #Navy) and other naval forces operations. Yesterday afternoon, #UTEK participated in a trial in collaboration with #EDA (European Defence Agency) to check the capability of #Kaluga to avoid collisions with static elements (buoys) and other maritime traffics. All activities were executed and controlled from the #BAM #Tornado. Great day for #UTEK in #REPMUS24! The #USV #Kaluga performed its first #REA (#RapidEnvironmentalAssessment) operations. Thanks to a collaboration with #UTEK, #KONGSBERG provided an #echosounder to be integrated on the #USV. Operations were completely successful and were supervised by experts from Spanish Navy (#Armada), in particular from #IHM (#Navy #Hydrographic Institute) #InstutoHidrográficodelaMarina. #Kaluga demonstrated its multi-role capabiity with the integration of different payloads. #UTEK takes part in #NAVALIA (Vigo, Pontevedra, Spain), one of the most important maritime exhibitions in Europe. During the event, the company presented its new #USV named "KRILL", an #autonomous catamaran available in two sizes: the basic one (2 meters long) for inland and calm waters operations and KRILL Plus (4 meters) with advanced performances to operate in port and coastal areas. In both cases, "Krill" is a modular and flexible product which allows a wide variety of payloads and equipment to adapt the final configuration to user's needs. The participation was sponsored by the Spanish Association of Naval and Oceanic Engineering #AINE.
