Take a look at the new web page of the BIODESIGN4INSULATION Project (link in the comments) 👇 The aim of the project is to innovate and integrate polyurethane materials produced using high contents of bio-based materials into various applications for enhanced thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, and vibration damping, thus providing sustainable solutions that significantly reduce energy loss in refrigerators and piping systems, while also improving acoustic comfort in dishwashers. The #Eurostars project is implemented in a partnership of CellMat Technologies SL (coordinator), ABN PIPE SYSTEMS, Kimteks Poliüretan Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, Arçelik Türkiye, and our very own Polymer Laboratory at the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry. Our colleagues Anda Fridrihsone and Mikelis Kirpluks, and their team will carry out activities related to bio-polyol synthesis and environmental assessment 💡
