🌍🗽 Entrepreneurship and Innovation: business trip to #NewYork ➡️ Day 1. Our partner, Jorge del Valle Urzáiz, is currently in New York on a #business trip organised by the Cámara de Comercio de España with the support of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce / Cámara de Comercio España-Estados Unidos. During the first day, Jorge has been able to learn about the ins and outs of large firms from the business heart 💼 of the #GrandManzana: 📌 The day started at the #SpanishChamberOfCommerce in New York, where Gemma Cortijo, Executive Director, shared strategies and opportunities for Spanish companies looking to expand in the US market. 📌 Then, with StackAI, we explored how this #startup, led by Antoni Rosinol, is revolutionising sectors such as #health and #finance through an accessible and adaptable #ArtificialIntelligence platform for companies of any size. 📌 Finally, we visited the Google offices in New York, guided by Spanish engineer Jesús Toledano. We got to know one of the most influential tech #hubs and discovered how Google continues to lead global innovation. ⛔La falta de acceso a financiamiento es uno de los principales obstáculos que enfrentan los emprendedores en México, según el estudio de  Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Si lo empatamos con un estudio realizado por la Asociación de Emprendedores de México (ASEM), se identificaron dos desafíos clave desde el aspecto financiero que enfrentan las empresas: 💸Falta de Liquidez o Capital de Trabajo: Muchas empresas no logran superar su primer año debido a la falta de recursos financieros inmediatos. La liquidez es esencial para mantener operaciones fluidas y enfrentar imprevistos. ❌Dificultades para Obtener Financiamiento: El 23.3% de las empresas experimenta dificultades al buscar financiamiento. Esto puede deberse a barreras burocráticas, requisitos estrictos o falta de conocimiento sobre las opciones disponibles. Es una realidad que no existe algún organismo oficial que guíe a los emprendedores hacia el éxito de sus negocios, y es aplicable en cualquier sector o tamaño de empresa. El ciclo de aprendizaje del empresario es muy empírico y diariamente se enfrentan a diferentes retos por falta de conocimiento de herramientas que puedan facilitarle el trabajo o que puedan superar los obstáculos que tienen actualmente. Do Bold Moves Lead to Success? In certain instances, individuals initiate ventures that are unconventional, surprising, and seemingly irrational... However, such initiatives often provoke skepticism. Yet, when they are proven successful, we label these individuals as entrepreneurial visionaries, for they demonstrated foresight. There are numerous business cases initially deemed risky, due to their audacity, but ultimately evolved into remarkable successes. Prominent figures like Alejandro Agag, spanish visionary who revolutionised the motorsports industry with the at first skeptical Formula E or Richard Branson, who exhibited remarkable resilience in steering the Virgin Group to success, exemplify this. In the Valencian Community, specifically in Castellón, the former Deputy, Alberto Fabra, despite facing criticism and legal allegations, demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit. One such bold venture was the Castellón Airport, involving an investment of €150 million, alongside the installation of the esteemed "man-plane" sculpture by artist Juan Ripollés of incalculable value. Despite initial public skepticism, this endeavour eventually proved to be a success story. In recent years, Castellón Airport has taken off, with a projected 500,000 passengers by 2026.
