Key Differences Between LPG And LNG Today, we are shifting towards the alternative of traditional fuels. More and more industries are turning to CNG, LPG, and LNG fuels. It reduces greenhouse gas emissions and minimizes expenses that help in increasing productivity in industries and combat global warming.  LPG and LNG are two different gases and have different distribution networks, energy content, combustion, and working pressure. LPG is derived from natural gas and crude oil during oil refining. Affordability and readability in the market are the advantages that make LPG superior to LNG.  What is LPG? LPG is a by-product of the extraction of crude oil. It has a mixture of butane, isopropane, propane, and other gases. The characteristics of LPG gas are odorless, colorless, and combustible. These cylinders are filled at optimum temperature and a particular odor is added that indicates a gas leak from the cylinder. What is LNG? LNG is liquefied natural gas. The natural gas is chilled to -161 degrees Celsius for liquidation. Liquid natural gas is 600 times denser in comparison to natural gas after extraction. Difference Between LPG and LNG Under light pressure, LPG liquefies, while LNG liquefies cryogenically. The liquefied LPG can be stored in an LPG tank ranging from 2kg to 33kg cylindrical vessels for consumers. The transportation of LPG is done via sea and ocean routes in cryogenic vessels leading to safety risks while transporting. The major difference between LNG and LPG is, that LPG can be used directly from the vessel, while LNG requires has to change the liquid to gas with vaporizers. While comparing the storage of both gases;  *LPG has a lower risk compared to LNG, due to no cryogenic conditions * LPG Can be stored at room temperature. * LPG create Low storage pressure.(nearly 4 - 12 bar, it depend on room temp. and propane rate) *LPG vapour heavier than LNG vapor, Also LPG vapor collected bottom , LNG vapor evaporates upwards to atmosphere. Ammonia synthesis is the reaction of hydrogen and nitrogen to produce ammonia. It is difficult to make highly concentrated ammonia in a single process and the process must be repeated several times. In this process, it is important to continuously monitor the concentration balance between N2 and H2 and the concentration of ammonia. Furthermore, because ammonia is both toxic and flammable, the gas monitor must also be explosion-proof. Our real-time gas monitoring system, RTGMS, is the optimal instrument for ammonia synthesis. Here are some of the more recent Refuelling Products for Alternative Fuels from our collection: ✅ H2 Compressed Hydrogen In the range of compressed hydrogen, ball and check valves as well as quick couplers up to 1" are now available. Our equipment allows much higher flow rates than conventional H2 refuelling components. It is suitable for operating pressure of 350 bar (35 MPa). ✅ H2 Low-pressure Hydrogen With the H2 hydrogen hoses for the low-pressure range, Elaflex supplies Ω/T connection hoses for the transfer of up to 100% hydrogen. The continuous smooth inner lining enables the processing of hydrogen e.g. the chemical or steel industry. ✅ ERV-H2+ rubber expansion joints These expansion joints are suitable for the transfer of up to 100% hydrogen as well as for 100% methane or other mixtures, so-called 'Hythane'. ✅ CNG Compressed Natural Gas The well-known CNG Dispensing System is supplemented by our SB-CNG safety breaks. The lightweight design with the soft bump stop of the SB-CNG protects the dispenser panels during operation and separation in case of a drive-away incident. ✅ LPG Liquefied Petroleum Gas LPG can also be mixed with DME, a liquid made of renewable raw materials. The ZVG 2 DME nozzle can be used with our EFL 16 hose assembly on the LPG dispenser.
