✨ The XVI Spanish Drug Discovery Network (SDDN) Meeting at CIPF, Valencia has come to an end, and what an exciting two days we have lived together!
Despite the ups and downs and unforeseen events of the last few days, this meeting has been much more than a congress: it has been our humble contribution to the recovery efforts of the community. We hope that the ideas shared, the science presented and the connections formed have been a small input to the resilience of this region.
During these days, we witnessed moments that reminded us why this community is so special:
✅ Exciting talks and discussions, with ideas that will shape the future of early drug discovery.
✅ A hard-fought poster competition, where the talent and effort of each participant shone through.
✅ Quality networking, with key meetings that promise new collaborations.
✅ Exceptional exhibitors, who showed us the latest technological developments and their impact on research.
✅ And, above all, a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, where the passion for science was the protagonist.
Congratulations to SLAS (Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening) Tony B Travel Award winner Amina Benaicha Fernández! We look forward to seeing you represent this talent at the next SLAS Europe Conference in Hamburg. We also congratulate our finalists Inmaculada Iáñez García and Ainoa Tejedera Villafranca for their outstanding presentations.
🙏 Endless thanks to our partners, sponsors and collaborators, whose support made this event possible, and to all attendees for their energy, enthusiasm and ability to adapt to every change. We have created something special together!
We would also like to send a big thank you and recognition to all the local team of the Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF), from its director to the researchers, who have been a fundamental pillar of this project!
🗓 See you next year in A Coruña for the XVII SDDN Congress, the countdown has already started!!
