Yesterday we participated in the ONTZHi project consortium meeting. ONTZHi is funded by the Basque Government within the #ELKARTEK program and coordinated by TECNALIA Research & Innovation, with the #collaboration of several institutions. The project deals with key technologies for the storage and transport of #hydrogen. TECNALIA Surface Engineering is working towards the development of #coatings as a barrier to #H2 permeation, with two different techniques: i) sol-gel based coatings for composite liners (type IV tanks), and ii) multilayered coatings via PVD for metallic tanks and components. 👉 Don´t forget to follow us in TECNALIA Surface Engineering to learn more about our activities! #research #innovation #H2permeation #hydrogentanks #solgelcoatings #PVDcoatings
