Congratulations ECC - Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation on this tremendous achievement! 👏🏾🇪🇹
"Turning Waste into Wealth: ECC's Tire Recycling Plant Leads the Way for Climate Resilience and SDG Goals" Under the visionary leadership of Eng. Yonas Ayalew, Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECC) continues to redefine innovation in infrastructure and sustainability. The launch of the trial production phase of ECC's first-of-its-kind tire recycling plant marks a milestone in Ethiopia's journey toward climate resilience and circular economy. Located in the Kality industrial zone, this cutting-edge facility transforms discarded tires into valuable materials like rubber bricks, rally tracks, pedestrian tiles, and playground surfaces. With a daily production capacity of 600 kilograms of rubber powder, this initiative contributes to reducing waste, conserving natural resources, and creating employment opportunities for the community. Speaking on the occasion, Eng. Yonas highlighted: "This project reflects ECC's unwavering commitment to not only delivering world-class infrastructure but also to addressing environmental challenges. By recycling tires, we are turning waste into opportunity and aligning with global Sustainable Development Goals. Together, we are building a greener and more resilient Africa." ECC is proud to pave the way for sustainable construction and manufacturing in Africa. This is more than just recycling; it's about driving innovation and creating a legacy of responsibility and progress. Stay tuned as we continue to push boundaries for a better tomorrow! #ECC #Sustainability #ClimateResilience #SDGs #Innovation #CircularEconomy Join us as we continue to shape the construction industry with cutting-edge strategies and collaborative solutions! #Construction #Engineering #Infrastructure #RiskManagement #ClaimsManagement #LegalMatters #ECC #ECWC #EthiopianConstruction #BuildingEthiopia #StrategicSolutions #StakeholderEngagement #LeadershipForum #CollaborationMatters #MonthlyForum #GlobalConstruction #ContinuousImprovement #InnovativeSolutions #FutureReady #Ethiopia #AfricaDevelopment #EthiopianEngineering #EastAfricaProjects

Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) leadership recently met with Eugene Willemsen, CEO of Africa, Middle East, South Asia, and International Beverages at PepsiCo, along with members of the PepsiCo team. We are encouraged by PepsiCo’s progress in expanding its capacity in Ethiopia’s food and beverage industry. With significant untapped demand in this sector and a supportive ecosystem created by recent macroeconomic reforms, #Ethiopia presents a prime opportunity for multinational investment. EIH is excited to collaborate with global leaders like PepsiCo to strengthen local value chains, promote the sourcing of inputs locally, and transfer the expertise needed to enhance both the quality and quantity of products. #EthiopianInvestmentHoldings #EIH #Partnerships #PepsiCo ##InvestmentOpportunities #FoodAndBeverage #LocalValueChains #EconomicReforms
