This aligns seamlessly with OpenMod4Africa’s mission to develop an open-source toolbox featuring advanced models that support secure, sustainable, and competitive energy systems, crafted to address Africa’s unique needs. 🔍⚙️ Our involvement directly supports Task T2.6, which emphasises collaboration with complementary initiatives like LEAP-RE and the AU-EU Water Energy Food Nexus consortium. We are excited to participate in the ECEMP 2024 conference co-hosted by the #EuropeanCommission through the Directorate-Generals for #Energy, #ClimateAction, #Research and #Innovation, and the European Climate Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (#CINEA). Veritas is participating in the Day 2 session on 'Advancing Africa's Energy System'. Kanchi Gashaw will present an abstract under the title "Open Modelling Toolbox for Africa (OM4A) - Case Study for Eastern African Region".
