To help ecosystems attract and retain members, a tool has been developed based on the Innovation Ecosystem Motivator (IEM) framework. At #Websummit 2024 many speakers underlined the importance of experimenting when working with AI. This is essential for understanding its capabilities, limitations and potential risks. By testing different approaches, users can gain insights into what the AI can and cannot do, allowing for more effective use in specific tasks.   The speakers also stressed that you need to be prepared to fail. Up to 80% of AI projects fail, according to HBR (11-12/2023, link: https://zurl.co/BdhN). The question is, do we still apply outdated ways to build AI solutions? What should the approach be like?

AI is here, but are you on or off board? AI is rapidly emerging from being just hype. However, even though large language models and machine learning systems already are widely accessible to anyone, the mere presence of AI capabilities has not yet translated into successful deployment for most organisations. A recent survey claims that 85% of companies lag behind in AI-implementation (Link: https://zurl.co/629h). At Web Summit 2024 Jasper’s CEO Timothy Young also claimed that 85% of leaders do not yet see or grasp the business impact or benefits of AI (Link: https://zurl.co/QjQu, https://zurl.co/w93p) What should we do about this?
