  • Bringing players back from injury? Here's how to do it right. 👇 Traditional rehabilitation exercises often don't mirror the specific demands of in-game activities, and it can also be challenging to meet the intensity and load goals when the athlete’s movement is very limited. Firstbeat’s Training Effect metric is a useful tool that helps coaches mirror training demands, ensuring that the session’s goals are achieved. You can use Training Effect to gradually build up the difficulty of your sessions, first introducing the Aerobic elements and then introducing Anaerobic until these once again mirror the demands of full training. This helps to ensure you don’t do too much too soon, whilst also providing a clear progressive plan that can be easily communicated with your athlete.
