It is our pleasure to congratulate Sami Pauni on his appointment as Chair of the Board of Plan International. Sami is a part of Huhtamaki’s Global Executive Team, where he holds the position of EVP of Corporate Affairs and Legal and Group General Counsel. Plan International is a non-profit organization working with children and girls in over 80 countries to help create a world where we are all equal. Sami has a long career in international business and has worked in several developing countries. After two years living in India, Sami started to seek opportunities to contribute to an organization dedicated to advancing human rights. Sami has been a Board member of Plan International Finland since 2023. “I want to tell girls that you have the right to make decisions regarding your own lives, make your own choices, and pursue your dreams. All girls should have the right to education and healthcare. We are proud to announce that the Egyptian Cabinet has granted Huhtamaki Egypt the prestigious Golden License for our new factory project in Sadat City, Monufia Governorate. This strategic investment will focus on the production of molded fiber packaging, including paper fruit trays, cup carriers, and egg cartons. This marks our fourth project in Egypt and reinforces our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and excellence.
