👋🏻 Meet Juri, our Product Manager for laboratory CAD/CAM products, who is also a skilled denturist and dental technician working part-time in clinical practice. 🦷 As a certified denturist, Juri brings invaluable hands-on experience from working with patients in Finland, where denturists specialise in full and partial dentures, taking care of everything from their manufacturing and placement to fitting and maintenance. 💻 Juri also integrates digital technology, utilising the Planmeca Creo® C5 3D printer and Planmeca PlanMill® laboratory milling unit to advance digital workflows in his lab work – for example, to print dentures like the one he is holding in the image. 💡 "Working directly with patients gives me valuable insights I can bring into developing Planmeca’s laboratory portfolio. It is highly rewarding to support and advise fellow denturists and technicians with these experiences." 🌟 The role of denturists in Finland is evolving, with potential changes that could allow them to play a broader role in oral healthcare due to the current shortage of healthcare personnel.
