“Culture and Entrepreneurship” masterclass on 07.11 in Tampere was inspiring! Warm and active group of aspiring creative entrepreneurs were eger to learn and share their own experiences, ask questions, engage, challenge each other and find solutions together. We had a great line up too: Maiju Okkonen from Cultura-säätiö opened the evening with a warm greeting speech, followed by introduction to the Tampere startup community scene by Viktoriia Martynenko and Abdel ESSAFAR from Tribe Tampere, followed by Q&A and active discussion about culture and business delivered by Startup Refugees and your’s trully. In 2022 alone , about 133 000 SMs in Finland generated a turnover of a wopping €14 000, 000,000 lead by €3,5 bln generated by gaming industry, €2,6 bln by event industry and roughly €1,6 bln by multimedia and audio-visual industry. In the age of internet and digitalization there are money to be made in creative space through monetization of IP.
