Last week, to begin the busy (and slushy) Slush week, we had the honor of hosting K-Startup Demo Day at Maria01! It was a celebration of the Korean startup ecosystem and their efforts to explore Finland, as well as Finnish-Korean relations. The event was kicked off with remarks by His Excellency Mr. Jungha Kim, Ambassador of Korea in Finland and Mr. Jari Sinkari, Director General of the Department of Asia and Oceania of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. The event was a collaborative effort between Vertical, KISED, KSC, KVCA, KOTRA, SBA and GSBA. We had a total of 24 Korean startups compete for a pitching slot, and saw 10 finalists pitching in front of the excited audience. 🏆 Congratulations to the participants on their hard work and well-delivered pitches, and special mention to the winners! Upea tilaisuus takana! ✨ Järjestimme viime viikolla yhteistyössä AstraZenecan ja Sanofin kanssa Sairauksien varhaisen tunnistamisen foorum -tilaisuuden. Sairauksien varhainen tunnistaminen on tärkeää sekä inhimillisistä että taloudellisista syistä. Hanna-Mari Jauhonen, PALKO:n pääsihteeri, kertoi, että Sosiaali- ja terveysministeriö on käynnistänyt selvitystyön terveydenhuollon menetelmien arviointitoiminnan organisoitumismallista, jonka tarkoituksena on mm. selkeyttää ja yhdenmukaistaa seulontojen arviointiprosessia tulevaisuudessa. Janne Martikainen, Itä-Suomen yliopiston lääketaloustieteen professori, sivisti meitä seulontojen vaikuttavuuden arvioinnista. Ennaltaehkäisevien toimien viiveaika vaikutukseen ja kustannusvaikutusten realisoitumiseen voi olla pitkä. Painopisteen siirto hoidosta ennakoivaan ennaltaehkäisyyn voisi kuitenkin pitkällä tähtäimellä tehostaa palvelujärjestelmän (kustannus)vaikuttavuutta. Avasimme eilen lääkäreille suunnatun Synapsi-mentorointiohjelman toisen kauden yhdessä aktorien, mentorien ja kumppaniemme kanssa! Kuulimme inspiroivia puheenvuoroja ihmisten johtamisesta ja seurasimme teemaa syventävää paneelikeskustelua, jossa pohdittiin lääkärijohtajan identiteettiä sekä oman arvomaailman ja peiliin katsomisen tärkeyttä. Alla pari nostoa illan puheenvuoroista: 💎 ”Johtaminen lääkärin ammattina”, Paula Arvilommi, Johtava ylilääkäri, Lääkärikeskus Aava: Johtajana kasvaminen on jatkuva prosessi, joka vaatii reflektiota, rohkeutta ja halua kehittyä. Oletko kiinnostunut kehittämään aikuisen ADHD:n hoitoa yhteistyön keinoin? Haastattelimme Synapsi-ADHD kehittämisen verkoston jäseniä ja kysyimme, mitä verkosto on antanut heille. Linda Ljungqvist, Päihde- ja mielenterveyspalveluiden johtava psykologi, Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue, kertoo, miten Synapsi-ADHD verkosto perustettiin Varhan toiveen pohjalta: ▪“Kun lähdimme kesällä -23 kehittämään Varhan aikuisten keskittymisen vaikeuksien tuen, arvioinnin ja hoidon prosessia, toivoimme yhteistyökumppaniltamme Takedalta kansallisen verkoston kokoamista asian ympärille. Tiesimme, että kaikki hyvinvointialueet painivat samojen asioiden ja haasteiden kanssa ADHD:n suhteen (mm. hoitojonot, perustason mallien hakeminen, psykososiaalisen tuen ja kuntoutuksen järjestäminen), ja toivoimme mahdollisuutta jakaa tietoa, sekä saada vinkkejä ja vertaistukea.” ▪Linda kokee verkoston antaneen vahvistusta sille, että Varhan prosessia kehitetään oikeaan suuntaan, vertaistukea vielä taklaamattomiin haasteisiin sekä vinkkejä ja toimivia malleja esimerkiksi konsultoivien psykiatrien hyödyntämisestä ja lääkehoitopolun digitalisoinnista. Linda toivoo myös, että psykososiaalista tukea olisi saatavilla kaikilla alueilla riippumatta koettujen keskittymisvaikeuksien etiologiasta. ▪“Uskon keskustelun lisäävän myös näkökulmaa ja mahdollisuuksia eri alueilla kehittää erikoissairaanhoidon ja perustason yhteistyötä. Lisäksi kehittämisestä innostuneiden ammattilaisten tapaaminen vahvistaa uskoa siitä, että kansallisesti ADHD-potilaiden asiat ovat menossa parempaan suuntaan.” Tutustu lisää Synapsi-ADHD kehittämisen verkostoon kommenttikentässä! ⬇️
