Happy National Day to all my new and old Swedish connections celebrating tomorrow 🇸🇪🥳 To mark the occasion, I wanted to share some stats and facts about the Swedish startup ecosystem: 🚀 Swedish startups have a total valuation of 239 billion euros. 🚀 Sweden has produced 41 unicorns. 🚀 Last year, Swedish startups drew in 4.7 billion euros in VC investments. 🚀 74 percent of the Swedish investments went to impact companies. 🚀🌏 Stockholm ranks first globally for climate tech funding. 🚀 Sweden is the 4th most most important European start up ecosystem. 🇸🇪🤝🇬🇧 Swedish companies have created nearly 23,400 jobs in the UK in the last decade – out of which 3,500 in London. Quite impressive, I'd say! I hope to help even more Swedish companies grow in London in the coming years 🥳🇸🇪🇬🇧 P.S. Did I miss anything? And what would you say is the best thing about the Swedish startup ecosystem? 🤔

I felt sorry when I heard their pitch So many great startups. Exciting to listen to Ukrainian Tech companies pitching for investors. They impressed me. But, many also made me sad. Their presentations where too complicated for the audience. The investor sitting next to me said: "Did you understand this?". I looked at the person my other side. She was shaking her head as a big question mark. We did not understand. If you want to pitch to me, please help me. 👉 Help me to understand what problem you are solving. 👉Help me to understand how you, your product or services is different. 👉Help me to understand what your ambition and vision are. 👉Help me to understand what you want from me. Please make it easy for me and other investors to understand.

"The idea itself is worth nothing. What matters is how you implement it, bring it to the market, and scale it. Without a clear plan, an idea remains just an idea."💬 Last week, we had a business breakfast with one of the Mission Possible venture building program mentors, Nina Levchuk 🇺🇦. 📌 Nina Levchuk 🇺🇦 - Startup and Venture Capital Lead at Google DACH. Over coffee, we discussed: ✔️ Startup culture; ✔️ The importance of market size, pivot, traction and team for attracting investment; ✔️ Using AI in business; ✔️ The role of investors in supporting startups; ✔️ Developing female entrepreneurship. The breakfast was moderated by Sviatoslav Sviatnenko. 🔔 Follow us on Medium to catch a blog with tips and insights from Nina Levchuk! Learn more about the program: https://lnkd.in/dnpZda86
