Our team experienced two incredible days of exchanges and discoveries at Fiji’s largest hospitality and tourism tradeshow. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our innovative and sustainable solutions and witness the enthusiasm of industry professionals for our products! ♻️ The Palmex team also took advantage of their time in Fiji to visit several completed Palmex projects, including a new project at the Westin. 🌴 We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners and distributors for their support, as well as to all the visitors with whom we shared unique moments. 🙏 Through inspiring discussions, product demonstrations, and enriching encounters, HOTEC 2024 reinforced our commitment to a more sustainable hospitality industry. Bula! I’m still buzzing from my amazing experience at HOTEC2024, organized by Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association. Fantasha Lockington, CEO of the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association insights into the future of Fijian tourism were enlightening. Jonathan Santos, Simon Williams and I also had the privilege of meeting Fiji’s Acting Prime Minister, the Honourable Viliame Gavoka. He emphasized the vital importance of digitalisation and innovation in Fiji's tourism sector. and it was exciting to see his enthusiasm for how the collaboration between Samsung New Zealand, Tapendium, and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise can make a significant impact in the industry. It’s exciting to witness the hospitality and tourism industry thriving in such a stunning destination. It was a pleasure to be part of #HOTEC2024 organised by Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. Simon Williams, Karissa Templanza and I were able to present the Tapendium application to Fiji’s acting Prime Minister, the Honourable Viliame Gavoka. In his opening speech of HOTEC, Hon. Viliame Gavoka discussed the digitalisation and innovation that Fiji Tourism and hospitality will need to go through to accomodate the influx of tourists coming to Fiji. So it was great to see him take interest in the Tapendium application which is a collaboration between Tapendium, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and Samsung New Zealand. It was also great to meet the lovely Fantasha Lockington the CEO of Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association and hear her insights into the future of Fiji Tourism. Looking forward to seeing how Fiji adopts innovative products into their vibrant tourism industry.
