🥕 The race is on for the Vegetable Garden World Cup!🥦 It’s a unique competition where children learn one of life’s most essential skills: growing their own food. Since 2024, the Louis Bonduelle Foundation has been a key partner in this impactful initiative, bringing gardening into schools worldwide. The goal? To teach children that food starts in the soil. And it's just as important as learning to read and write. 👩🏻🌾🏫 4,000 students from nearly 200 schools across 26 countries are rolling up their sleeves to plant, nurture, and harvest their own vegetables. But this competition is about more than just growing the biggest carrot. It’s a unique opportunity to explore nutrition, biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable resource management.🌱 At Bonduelle, we believe that healthy, plant-rich and sustainable food should be fun! 🌱 Sommes-nous (presque) TOUS flexitariens sans le savoir ? Une révolution silencieuse s’opère dans nos assiettes. Aujourd’hui, 7 consommateurs sur 10 limitent leur consommation de viande sans l’exclure totalement. Une étude menée auprès de 7 500 consommateurs en Europe confirme la tendance : ✔️ 46 % ont déjà réduit leur consommation de viande ✔️ 30 % souhaitent consommer moins de produits laitiers Pourquoi ce changement ? Principalement pour leur santé et leur budget, mais aussi pour le bien-être animal et la planète. Par exemple, remplacer le poulet par du pois chiche dans un curry, c’est : 💶 40% d’économies sur le coût du plat 🌎 Près de 60% d’émissions de CO2 en moins. À l’échelle mondiale, le flexitarisme pourrait réduire nos émissions de gaz à effet de serre de 18%. C’est donc LE régime alimentaire recommandé par l’ONU. Pourtant, le défi reste immense : en Europe et aux États-Unis, 90 % des adultes ne mangent pas assez de légumes. 💡 Bist du bereit für eine pflanzenreichere Ernährung im Jahr 2025? 🍃 Wir bei Bonduelle wissen: Neujahrsvorsätze funktionieren am besten, wenn sie realistisch und machbar sind. Statt alles auf einmal zu ändern, setzen wir lieber auf kleine Schritte, die eine nachhaltige Veränderung bewirken. Mehr pflanzliche Lebensmittel in deinen Alltag einzubauen, ist ein einfacher Weg, dich selbst und unseren Planeten zu unterstützen. 🥗🌍 ✨ Unsere Ernährungsexpertin Eloïse Castagna gibt dir wertvolle Tipps für den Einstieg: 👉 Muss ich auf Fleisch verzichten, um pflanzlicher zu essen? Nein! Es geht nicht darum, komplett auf Fleisch zu verzichten, sondern mehr Platz für Gemüse, Hülsenfrüchte, Nüsse, Samen und Vollkornprodukte zu schaffen. Du kannst zum Beispiel deinen Fleischkonsum reduzieren oder zwischen Mahlzeiten mit und ohne Fleisch abwechseln. 👉 Wie sieht ein ausgewogener, pflanzenreicher Teller aus? Perfekt ausgewogen muss es nicht immer sein – die Balance entsteht über mehrere Mahlzeiten hinweg. Aber hier ein paar Tipps: ✅ Ergänze jede Mahlzeit mit Gemüse – idealerweise macht es ein Viertel des Gewichts oder fast die Hälfte des Volumens aus. ✅ Plane mindestens zwei Mahlzeiten pro Woche mit Hülsenfrüchten wie Kichererbsen, Linsen oder Kidneybohnen. ✅ Greife zu Vollkornprodukten wie Wildreis, Dinkel oder Vollkornbrot. 👉 Und was ist mit der Energiezufuhr? Kein Problem! Ein bis zwei Esslöffel Pflanzenöl pro Mahlzeit liefern gesunde Fette – ähnlich wie in Fleisch oder Käse.
