Our colleagues volunteered their time to support the City of Trees initiative in Greater Manchester, planting 45 trees and re-mulching 117 others to help enrich our local green spaces. Jonathan Randles, our Environment and Sustainability Manager, said, "Another fantastic day of green volunteering with Manchester City of Trees. A group of BYES employees spent an enjoyable day in the November sunshine in Ashton Under Lyne maintaining and planting whips (young tree saplings). All commented that they gained from the experience in helping to restore the tree population in the local area." This initiative aligns with our ongoing efforts to promote #sustainability and contribute to the long-term health and wellbeing of our local communities. #CSR #TreePlanting

We are proud to continue our longstanding support of Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting coffee mornings across our offices and sites. We enjoyed baked goods together and thanks to the generosity of our team, we have raised over £500 to help Macmillan provide crucial support to the millions of people in the UK living with cancer. We’re proud to support our community and invest in the next generation by helping young people prepare for their future careers. Recently, our colleagues volunteered their time to conduct mock interviews with year 10 students at Sale High School. By providing real-world interview experience, we helped students build confidence, identify their strengths and enhance their communication skills, essential tools for their future success. Jonathan Williams, Deputy Headteacher, said, “Having the involvement of real employers and employees makes the mock interview process all the more valuable and impactful.
