This change marks the next step in our company’s evolution following our recent delisting from the stock exchange and Thornico’s acquisition of all company shares. Founded in 1917 by the Hartmann brothers, our company has thrived through over a century of innovation and transformation. This name change honors our founders’ entrepreneurial spirit and legacy while signaling a forward-looking future under our dedicated sole shareholder. While our logo and brand identity will remain the same, we understand that many will continue to refer to us simply as "Hartmann" — a name we will always proudly answer to. Hartmann Expands in Asia   We are pleased to announce that Hartmann has assumed 100% ownership of Siangpack Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia and Sanovo Packaging China. These transfers are part of an internal group realignment within Thornico, which previously held direct ownership of these two companies.   Siangpack, based in Penang, Malaysia, was established in 2000 and has since grown to become one of the country's leading moulded fiber packaging manufacturers, serving both domestic and international markets. In 2012, the company was acquired by our parent company, Thornico.   Sanovo Packaging China was established in 2019 by Thornico, with Hartmann participating as a minority shareholder. The facility, located in Chuzhou, China, is steadily building its position in the growing Chinese market for sustainable egg packaging.   Integrating both plants into Hartmann’s operations will generate significant synergies in technical expertise, product development, customer service, logistics, branding, and many other areas.   Siangpack and Sanovo Packaging China align well with Hartmann’s commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly packaging solutions. As CEO Torben Rosenkrantz-Theil notes, "The two companies strengthen our footprint in the growing Asian marketplace, which is a strategically important region for Hartmann's long-term expansion."
