We recently hosted a “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” at our Canadian facility in Brantford, ON! Addy, Eliana, and Hazel joined their parents at work where they toured the office and plant floor. It was a great opportunity for their parents to educate them about what a manufacturing plant looks like and what it takes to make it run!   It was a great day for learning and inspiring future leaders! 💡

Don’t forget about the ultimate dynamic duo: Eggs + Vegetables! Eggs make it easy to follow a plant-based diet because they pair well with vegetables, which are foods Americans often don’t eat enough of. They are also an all-around nutrient powerhouse, providing high-quality protein and essential vitamins and minerals for healthy living like choline, vitamin B12, and iodine. Plus, pairing eggs with vegetables can help you better absorb the nutrients in the veggies. 💪 According to the American Heart Association, healthy people can include an average of seven eggs per week as part of a heart-healthy diet - And vegetarians may include more eggs in their diets within the context of moderation. What’s your favorite way to pair eggs and veggies?

Transparency is one of Kipster’s core values. People can learn about the lives of Kipster chickens, their eggs and meat on our website, social media and at the informational boards at the farm’s visitor center. The visitor’s center has large windows through which people can see the chickens. Or when bird flu has subsided, the hens can be seen in the outdoor gardens. The visitor center is open daily from 10 AM until 4 PM. If people cannot travel to North Manchester, Indiana, they can watch the 24/7 livestream on Kipster’s YouTube channel. Come visit! We want people to know where their food comes from. We want them to understand what it takes to make eggs and meat and why it matters. We share how we take care of the chickens, how they live, what they eat, but also about their life cycle, including birth and end of life. We hope transparency helps people appreciate and respect the lives of these sentient beings that bring us joy and nourishment through the food that they produce. And not waste any of it. #visitorcenter #transparency #farmvisit

Marketing and Sustainability Manager | Telling the story of sustainable packaging ♻️ | Egg industry advocate 📣

👀 WOW. It is so encouraging to see cleanup projects like this... Now lets stop contributing to plastic pollution so that we no longer have such a dire need for them. 📢 Did you know there are 100,000 metric tons of garbage are floating in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch made up of over a TRILLION plastic pieces? That is equivalent to 250 pieces of debris for every human in the WORLD. That is so much trash I think we have a hard time comprehending it. ♻ You can make a tangible difference by evaluating the products you choose to buy. Ditch the products with plastic packaging whenever you can - especially when there is a plastic-free alternative. Make choices like buying eggs in molded fiber cartons vs plastic or foam. 💡 It all starts with becoming aware and making a choice. Let's make it a good choice for people and our planet. Ditch the plastic and make a difference. #ditchplasticpackaging #moldedfiber #sustianablity #ditchplastic #packaging #CPG

This is Huge! 100,000 kg of Plastic Removed from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch! The Ocean Cleanup has successfully removed 100,000 kg of plastic from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a massive area between Hawaii and California where an estimated 100 million kg of plastic debris accumulates. This achievement highlights the power of innovative technology in tackling one of the world's most pressing environmental challenges. How did they accomplish this? The System 002 utilizes a floating barrier that harnesses ocean currents to funnel plastic toward a central collection point. This U-shaped barrier efficiently guides debris into a netted area where the plastic can be gathered without endangering marine life. Continuous improvements and data collection allow The Ocean Cleanup team to refine their systems, increasing efficiency and operational capacity with each mission Looking ahead, the integration of robotics, AI, and automation can enhance our ability to monitor pollution, optimize cleanup processes, and even prevent plastic waste from entering our oceans in the first place. But let’s not forget the main factor: us. We must stop throwing trash everywhere. Prevention is key. Follow Endrit Restelica for more.
