✨ From Dream to Reality: Introducing the Early Test Project ✨ Every big idea starts as a simple sketch—a doodle on a napkin, a vision shared over coffee. ☕🖍️ For us at Constellation Technologies & Operations, that dream was a groundbreaking step toward universal connectivity. Today, we’re proud to introduce Early Test, a major milestone in our journey to transform that vision into reality. 🌍🚀 Why Early Test? The Early Test project is a pivotal leap toward building our constellation of very low Earth orbit satellites leveraging an innovative approach of Radio Frequency spectrum management. Our goal? Test quickly on the ground and in-orbit key technological bricks we need to deploy our system. 🌐✨ How Does It Work? Picture this: a high speed/low latency internet connection established between a user terminal communicating with a payload on a satellite, which in turn is connected to a ground station. This two-way satellite communication between Earth and space relies on the power of 5G mmWave frequencies from telecom operators. 🔄🛰️ What’s the Early Test Made Of? At the heart of Early Test is a carefully designed payload which will fly on a host satellite. This payload acts as a communication node “gNB”, equipped with dual antennas to manage simultaneous links between the ground station and user terminal. The Road Ahead 🗓️ We’re in the final stretch of integrating and testing the components of this payload with our partners. Functional and mechanical tests will ensure its resilience to cope with the challenges of space. Early 2025 will see the payload’s integration with the host platform, followed by its launch into orbit by mid-2025. 🌌🚀 This carousel tells our story: the first is where we started—a simple doodle of our dream.
