𝗗𝗲́𝗻𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 Our subsidiary DÉNY SECURITY has taken a leap forward with a strategic solar installation at its facility. Featuring 232 solar panels covering 480m², the solar panels will generate 102.08kWc, covering 65% of their energy needs and reducing CO² emissions by 6 tonnes per year. By investing in this technology through its partnership with Terre Solaire, the French company is demonstrating DOM Security's commitment to sustainable industrial practices and the Sfpi Group's Transformation Plan. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 The project is part of Dény's Security's wider sustainability initiatives, such as switching to electric vehicles and adopting a circular economy. And, while this journey has taken a lot of perseverance, the result will be worth it: "Don't hesitate to take the leap if your goal is to reduce your carbon footprint and move towards a greener future," says Anthony Hibon, Dény Security Quality & Environment Manager. Now, with the introduction of advanced photovoltaic technology that not only delivers maximum efficiency but also sustainable performance over time, it's proof that environmental responsibility and business innovation can go hand in hand. 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱: 𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 Braving snow and travel delays, DOM Security's European marketing team gathered last week in Paris for two days of collaboration and planning. This end-of-year event at the Sfpi Group headquarters provides an important forum for sharing ideas, aligning strategies and strengthening relationships across the group. Local teams presented their plans, sparking lively discussions on tackling challenges and maximising opportunities. From social media and sponsorships to training days and events, the focus remained on meaningful customer engagement. Updates on the digital asset management system, shared resources and pan-European campaigns inspired new ideas for collaboration and impact. The meeting also provided an opportunity to welcome new colleagues and, as the evening approached, a chance to relax and soak up the magic of Paris, from the stunning views of Montmartre to a memorable meal at a local bistro. The team left Paris inspired, aligned and ready to bring these plans to life. With a strong foundation in place, 2025 promises to be an exciting year ahead. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: 𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗔𝗣𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗪𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗢𝗻 We’re all keenly aware of the importance of food safety. The risk of contamination and allergens lingers as a quiet but constant concern. So, the trust we place in our food is a fragile one, sustained by unseen assurances that it is safe to consume. At the forefront of ensuring these standards is BIOLAN Microbiosensors, an innovative company located near Bilbao in Spain’s Basque Country. BIOLAN has made its name by developing sophisticated biosensors that guarantee food quality and safety. Their work, recognised with Spain’s National Innovation and Design Award, is a testament to their commitment to tackling some of the most pressing challenges in food production and handling. Yet, safeguarding such technological ingenuity demands more than expertise in the lab. It requires a meticulous approach to protecting the intellectual property and sensitive processes that make this work possible. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 To address these challenges, BIOLAN worked with DOM MCM, a leader in access control solutions, to secure their facilities and operations. The DOM Tapkey system they agreed upon provides a modern, reliable and efficient security solution. It allows BIOLAN to manage access to their premises with digital precision, allowing authorised employees and visitors to enter with a simple tap of their smartphone or transponder. Tapkey's flexibility and control is pivotal. Permissions can be granted or withdrawn in real time, ensuring that access aligns with BIOLAN’s operational needs. In a fast-paced world, where the ability to adapt quickly is crucial, such measures offer a level of security and oversight that is both reassuring and necessary. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 For a company like BIOLAN, which punches well above its weight on the global stage, protecting its facilities means safeguarding the innovations that underpin our confidence in food safety. This is not just a matter of convenience but a critical step in ensuring the integrity of their work and, by extension, the food we consume. BIOLAN’s collaboration with DOM-MCM represents a seamless integration of cutting-edge technology and pragmatic security. It is an approach that reflects a deeper truth: innovation and security are two sides of the same coin. Together, they ensure that our food systems remain not only advanced but also trusted. In securing their future, BIOLAN reminds us that safeguarding progress is as vital as making it – ensuring that we don’t have to think about it every time we sit down to eat. #FoodSafety #AccessControl #SecuritySolutions #TechForGood Want to know how #weDOMore for security?
