We’re proud to renew our partnership with Polynésie la 1ère to cover this iconic event - the world’s largest Polynesian canoe race, with teams of six rowers navigating a breathtaking course through the Leeward Islands. The Hawaiki Nui Va’a is more than just a competition! It’s a celebration of Polynesian culture, spirit, and tradition. This year’s edition once again showcased incredible athleticism, stunning landscapes, and the unmatched team spirit of the event. To tackle the technical challenges, our team at EMG CONNECTIVITY deployed over two tonnes of LiveTools equipment, ensuring flawless coverage. Our four dedicated technicians on-site delivered 15+ hours of live action over three days, giving viewers an immersive experience of the race across Tahiti. EMG / Gravity Media detailed its broadcast technology and television production undertakings to deliver two of this year’s major entertainment events in Australia this year – and they are in the same week.
