𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗩 𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 Earlier this year and in partnership with Trisplay, MOOV LIMITED launched its specialist virtual production department MVXR. In conjunction with Timeline Television Studios, MOOV continue their commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology and to pushing the boundaries of content creation for broadcast and virtual production. After several months of development, sees the launch of a 3500 square feet fully equipped London studio, that can now support up to eight different feeds from a single LED wall – all captured simultaneously and in real-time by any number of cameras. TRISPLAY recently implemented several new features which make it the only installation of this capability in the world. Nevil Appleton, Director and Co-founder of MOOV, “MVXR collaborates closely with leading technology partners and experts, and its mission is to bridge the gap between technology and production. Having great partners and so much tech at our fingertips, combined with the expertise of MOOV and Trisplay, we are able to shape the future and break new ground in virtual production. Seeing up to eight different feeds in real-time is mind blowing and demonstrates our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible.” Daniel McDonnell, CEO Timeline TV, “This is another remarkable use of technology and is a must see for all content creators. Our commitment in supporting new technologies enables us to shape the future of broadcast and virtual production.” These advancements will ultimately bring huge benefits to live broadcasts, enabling multi-camera realities for virtual studio and XR. Film and content creators will also be able to shoot ICVFX with the ability to capture multiple realities and chroma key plates (including tracking data) up to 8K all in real-time, vastly enhancing postproduction workflows. Max von Braun, Founder of Trisplay, "Since the first day at the MVXR Studio, we aimed to run the best-performing LED Studio globally. Detailing every component to perform at its best took some time, but now we can guarantee that no other studio out there is capable of performing at the same level. Aside from the multiple content to be captured by cameras, we also put a lot of detail into the naked eye/audience performance inside the studio. Therefore, a completely new approach was required, allowing for a perfect naked-eye performance that is not even part of the final product but only for on-set crew. This opens a whole new chapter for the ease of production as critical information like markers, prompts etc can be shown anywhere while cameras only capture the final product." Reaching this goal would have been impossible without our partners' great help. In an exciting new chapter of our remote production capabilities, Timeline has partnered with E1 and Aurora to bring the E1 Series from glamorous waters from around the world back to our Ealing Broadcast Centre technical hub. The E1 series itself is a boundary-pushing concept which compliments our implementation of a robust, replicable remote production concept. For the most recent race, our technical teams were based on the shores of Lake Como and oversaw 25 camera sources including super slow cameras plus additional GFX and timing feeds returned to our hub in Ealing. We entertained the local crowd with our programme output returned to their big screens and captured the excitement of the event into our programme by conducting live interviews with the boat pilots from our commentary booths whilst they were still on the water moments after crossing the finish line, all culminating into many hours of live programming shared with screens across the world. #timelinetv 📸 Photo Credit: Hamish Perks

It's been a busy summer for us so far and a big highlight of it has most certainly been providing technical facilities and crew once again to BBC Studios at this year’s Glastonbury Festival of The Contemporary Performing Arts. Onsite, our UHD 3, 5 and 5 scanners along with RF3 & 4 and our fibre hub facilitated hours of content from the biggest festival in the UK with our team looking after radio cameras working across the festival site, fibre interlinking between the stages covered by the BBC, uplinking of satellite broadcast circuits and the presentation facilities for the programmes aired on BBC1, 2, 3 and 4 as well as one of the two dedicated iPlayer channels. The second iPlayer channel was produced off-site from our Ealing Broadcast Centre. #timelineTV #glastonbury2024 📸 Photo Credit: Jodie Haertel
