🌟 AI Action Summit in Paris: A Catalyst for Change From February 6–11, Paris hosted the #AIActionSummit—a gathering where top political leaders, scientists, and innovators from around the world debated the future of artificial intelligence. Key announcements included President Macron’s pledge of €109 billion to boost AI in France, and Ursula von der Leyen’s commitment of €200 billion for Europe’s AI industry to drive digital sovereignty, ethical innovation, and adoption. The Summit kicked off on February 5 when ENGIE‑hosted the event “Powered by AI: On the Road to the AI Action Summit”—an inspiring session co‑organized with MIT Club de France and co-hosted by Ludovic Quesnelle, Group VP Digital Transformation & Solutions at ENGIE and Mihir Sarkar, Head of AI at ENGIE R&I. As a panelist enthusiastically explained, AI has the potential to drive systemic change: “When we address the intersection of AI and energy, it’s not just about powering data centers; it’s about re‑imagining our entire energy infrastructure to be leaner, greener, and more resilient.” 📻 Watch the event replay here → https://lnkd.in/e53pU_5v On February 11, Ludovic Quesnelle participated in a panel on “How is AI transforming the economy and organisations?” for the Summit’s #BusinessDay at STATION F . 👏 Comment la Recherche et l'Innovation d'ENGIE participent au succès de projets opérationnels : Lors de la dernière cérémonie des One ENGIE Awards, le projet Predity for Asset porté par la GBU Energy Solutions a remporté un Award grâce au modèle opérationnel développé par des chercheurs de R&I. Les algorithmes qui permettent à l’outil de fonctionner ont été développés par Marinette Loisy et Slawomir Pietrasz du Lab CSAI au Lab Crigen Ils permettent de prédire les besoins énergétiques des réseaux de chauffage et de générer des scénarios de production optimaux.  Ces développements avaient été initiés au Lab Cylergie par Jessica LEO.
