Building on the preparatory work of EU PROTECT, PCP-WISE is the next step in advancing #watermanagement innovation and building #climateresilience across Europe using the #Pre-Commercial Procurement instrument. Leveraging #space technology and #Earthobservation data, PCP-WISE seeks to address water-related #crises fueled by #climatechange. ♻️💡 Supporting Managing Authorities to promote Strategic Public Procurement is a new project of DG REGIO and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). It was great to have 75 participants in the kick-off webinar! 😀 After welcoming remarks of Stefan Appel and Justyne Balasinska from DG REGIO and Paulo Magina from OECD - OCDE , Matthieu Cahen from OECD - OCDE, Valentina Schippers from Urban Agenda for the EU Gemeente Haarlem and Lois Pimentel Iglesias from DG GROW provided their insights on lessons learned from previous and ongoing initiatives.
