🏆 Exciting News! 🏆 We are thrilled to announce that Gerflor is the official flooring supplier for the Women's European Handball Championship ! 🎥 Discover our latest video on the renovation project of the Tour Pleyel, a major undertaking that transformed this iconic building into a 4-star hotel ready to host the Paris 2024 Olympics. 🏨✨ With 17,000 m² of Gerflor LVT planks installed, this project was a true technical and aesthetic challenge. We had the honor of collaborating with renowned architects Schoenert Axel and AS Architecture B.V., who elevated each space with an innovative and elegant vision. Additionally, SRETCHKO MARKOVIC, CEO of 163 ATELIERS®, played a crucial role in renovating the Tour Pleyel alongside Axel Schoenert. The technical challenges were numerous, including the complete rehabilitation of the tower, which involved stripping the structure while preserving the exterior facades. Moreover, the creation of a special wood decor product in a "herringbone" pattern was necessary to meet the creative directive of "Parisian parquet". Collaboration with France Sols was also essential for the success of this project. 🌟 European Disability Employment Week 🌟 From November 18 to 24, Gerflor proudly participated in the European Disability Employment Week, showcasing our commitment to inclusivity and support for people with disabilities. In Italy (Gerflor Italia) , we collaborated with a local association to create unique placemats featuring their artwork on our Taralay Impression Hop material. This initiative not only supports the artists but also brings awareness to their incredible talents. In France, we organized a disability awareness day led by Nathalie Ferrière, who highlighted that 80% of people with disabilities suffer from invisible disabilities. Gerflor France has a long-standing partnership with associations that help individuals with psychological disabilities integrate into the workforce. Our new canteen at the Tarare site is managed by the Messidor association, which aids people with psychological disabilities in returning to employment. We are also excited to mention our collaboration with the talented young athlete Gwendoline Matos from Paris 2024, who embodies our commitment to inclusion and excellence. Additionally, we participated in the Accessibility Forum in Poland (Gerflor Polska) , a conference and exhibition focused on inclusive design in the broadest sense. This event brought together people with disabilities, organizations working for inclusiveness, neurodiversity, and professionals from various sectors. We presented our specialized solutions for inclusive design alongside the Accessibility Studio company, showcasing products from ROMUS and Gradus Limited Let's share our differences, learn from each other, and build an environment where disability is no longer an obstacle but a strength.

After the CREPS de Strasbourg, the players of Saint-Amand Handball are now benefiting from this top-quality surface. Additionally, the volleyball finals court has found a new home in the commune of Carpiquet. At Gerflor, we are committed to sustainability and innovation.
