Our workshop, "Can We Build Baymax? Part 9: Learning and Data Collection for Skillful Humanoid Robots (CWBB2024)," in Nancy, France, went very well! We had such a large audience that many people couldn’t find seats during some of the sessions. We really appreciate all the speakers (Sven Behnke, Gordon Cheng, Parker Conroy, Daniel Leidner, Luigi Penco, Aaron Prather, Daniele Pucci, NICK XU, Eiichi Yoshida, Grzegorz Ficht, Connor Herron, Stephen McCrory, Dmytro Pavlichenko) and attendees for their great talks and interesting questions. A special thanks to the IEEE RAS HUMANOIDS Conference Committee, especially Serena Ivaldi, Tamim Asfour, and Olivier Stasse,for their invaluable support in helping us set up the workshop in the best possible way. CWBB2025 will be our 10th workshop, and CWBB organizers (Alex Alspach, Chris Atkeson, Joohyung Kim, Jinoh Lee, Katsu Yamane) are excited to return to Seoul, Korea, where we held our very first workshop. As always, we will do our best to choose the best topic aligned with our direction and invite the best speakers to spark enthusiastic discussions. Plus, we are planning a special event to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We hope to see many of you in person next year in Seoul at Humanoids 2025!

What a week to be a humanoid! It was a blast to see so many passionate people in one place! Thank you IEEE RAS HUMANOIDS Conference for these exciting days. We had some incredible highlights: 🎯 TALOS took home the win in the Obstacle Avoidance Challenge, even with barely any prep time. 🤖 TIAGo Pro led the robot parade and turned heads all the way. 🎤 Francesco Ferro energized the room as a panel moderator, and Luca Marchionni presentation had the audience hooked! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, connected with us, or shared what you’re working on – it’s your passion that keeps the robotics community thriving. IEEE RAS HUMANOIDS Conference is over, and I can't be more grateful for the chance of being part of it. The conference was amazing, full of talented people paving the way for Humanoids development. It was also super cool to see robots in motion from different companies, and how everyone was so committed with the exciting competitions. It's a wrap! Humanoids 2024 concluded with the awards ceremony and farewell party 🎉 Congratulations to all the awardees and finalists of the paper awards, competitions, and wonderful to see the many Kanako Miura Awardees and IDEA Travel Awardees attending the conference. 🤝 For the first time, we also had children of attendees who worked in their own robotics project and showcased them during the closing ceremony 🤖😍 Hope everyone enjoyed this edition of Humanoids in Nancy, and wish you safe travels if you're traveling back, and enjoy your stay if you're spending some more time in Nancy 🇫🇷 Humanoids 2025 will be in Seoul, South Korea, with general chair Jaeheung Park! 🇰🇷 The conference will be held in sequence with Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL).
