INATBA - International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications' Finance Working Group that I am co-chairing with Jean-Christophe Mathonet has worked extensively to put a response together to the 3rd Consultation of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). The Consultation was on the Draft technical standards and guidelines specifying certain requirements of the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA) of the European Commission on detection and prevention of market abuse, investor protection and operational resilience. 🔋🔋 #DigitalProductPassports and securing the provenance of original products is one of the most pressing areas - not only for the overall economy and consumer protection but also for applying #blockchain technology. Built on top of the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI)'s infrastructure, this project - led by the EUIPO - is currently looking for industry players to run the first five MVPs in 2024 on their technical platform, which was released to the public yesterday.
