Great event in London with INOREVIA team!

A must-read article by SEQanswers in case you missed it this summer, to explore the different library preparation techniques and their impact on transcriptomic research. "Sequencing mRNA provides a snapshot of cellular activity, allowing researchers to study the dynamics of cellular processes, compare gene expression across different tissue types, and gain insights into the mechanisms of complex diseases", as introduced in the article. Thanks to Benjamin Atha for including us in this comprehensive article on transcriptomics, with a focus on mRNA prep tools. This editorial is full of insights from experts about the latest strategies driving advancements in the field : overview of the methodologies, recommendations for deciding which approach to use, optimization strategies, evolution of mRNA library prep and future perspectives, fueled by a growing need to reduce the required input material, especially for rare samples and single-cell studies. I’m really proud of the contribution from INOREVIA Application Development lead, Sebastian Aguilar Pierlé, who is both expert and passionate about the subject! My career in science has always been tied to the evolution of massively parallel sequencing technologies. Particularly to transcriptomics. From the exciting first trials on pyrosequencing platforms to the current vertiginous increments in resolution, I have always felt privileged to have access to these tools. Rendering them accessible to answer scientific questions is now part of my job description at INOREVIA and one of my most fulfilling tasks. I invite you all to read this wonderful editorial that I was lucky enough to contribute to. It provides a very nice overview on the different mRNA prep tools available and how to put them to good use. Cheers

[TRACES ADN] [FRANCE GÉNOMIQUE] 👩🏫 À l’occasion de l’assemblée générale du réseau France Génomique, la capitaine Amel L. a présenté les résultats d’une étude réalisée dans le cadre de son travail de doctorat au Centre national de recherche en Génomique humaine (#CNRGH), en collaboration avec la Division criminalistique biologie génétique de l’IRCGN - Institut de Recherche Criminelle de la Gendarmerie Nationale et la société française INOREVIA. ➡ Cette étude a permis de générer des profils génétiques à partir de traces d’ADN en quantités inférieures à ce qui est exploitable avec les méthodes standards. Cela ouvre la possibilité d’obtenir un profil génétique exploitable même dans les cas complexes. 🇫🇷 France Génomique rassemble et mutualise les ressources des plates-formes françaises de génomique et de bio-informatique les plus performantes. Son ambition est de maintenir la recherche française au plus haut niveau de compétitivité et de performance dans la production et l’analyse des données de génomique. Ces réunions favorisent les échanges entre les membres du réseau, en particulier sur des enjeux partagés comme le traitement des échantillons difficiles. 💡 Les résultats très innovants de cette collaboration sont en cours de publication. “Squeezing water out of stone”… a perfect metaphor to summarize what Inorevia technology enables for genomics (and other omics) applications! thanks Andrew ;-) I’m very proud to announce our collaboration with New England Biolabs to develop automated workflows to maximize data quality by preparation of sequence-ready libraries from challenging samples using NEBNext® library preparation reagents on INOREVIA’s Magelia® automation platform. Preparing high-quality libraries for sequencing analysis from challenging samples, including those derived from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue, poses several challenges to the production of high-quality sequencing data. “Inorevia’s unique approach provides opportunities to enhance the performance of enzymatic reactions, driving efficiency on a molecular level, with reduced sample loss. We’re excited about the potential of combining NEB’s unique and highly optimized solutions for library preparation with the Magelia® platform to accomplish science that would otherwise be unattainable”, comments Fiona Stewart, Ph.D., Associate Director, NEBNext Portfolio Management at NEB Innovation is at the core of everything NEB teams do, and since our first discussions we felt our companies were a perfect match in terms of vision.
