Construction Collage in Singapore!
We Help to Decarbonise Buildings Across Singapore & SEA and Enable Businesses to Slash Bills While Achieving Emission Targets
🚧 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐰𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐝! 🏗️ A huge thank you to Bizsu for sponsoring this session, and PALO IT for providing an amazing space! Your support made this session possible! Buildings shape our cities and lives—but after today’s session, we see them differently. The 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 accounts for 𝟯𝟵% 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗢₂ 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! According to the World Green Building Council: 🔹 𝟮𝟴% from 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 emissions—the energy needed to 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁, 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 buildings. 🔹 𝟭𝟭% from 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 & 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. These were just some of the many highlights from our workshop: 🏗️ The 𝟰 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 of Construction & Emissions 1️⃣ 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: Thoughtful urban planning can reduce cooling demand and combat the urban heat island effect. 2️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Cement & steel are major carbon contributors—how can we build more sustainably? 3️⃣ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲: The longest phase! Retrofitting & passive cooling techniques can cut emissions dramatically. 4️⃣ 𝗘𝗻𝗱-𝗼𝗳-𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲: Recycling materials like cement & steel can reduce waste and embodied carbon. 🏡 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 & 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬—designed, constructed, and one day decommissioned. It’s important to understand our own homes and take action to 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬. Small steps to reduce carbon emissions can make a big difference in combating climate change. 🌱 What steps can you take to reduce emissions & save your home? 🚧 Join our next Construction Collage workshop to discover more!
