Right now in #Toulouse, the historic birthplace of aviation, L’Envol des Pionniers – a site partnered with Latecoere – is hosting “#AirFrance, a history of elegance”, an exhibition celebrating over 90 years of French-style travel. Showcasing 170 original artifacts, from iconic posters and model aircraft to couture uniforms and vintage seats, the exhibition highlights Air France’s rich heritage and timeless commitment to elegance.   But did you know that Air France’s story began in Toulouse? It all started with Lignes Aériennes Latécoère (Latécoère Airlines), which later became #Aéropostale, pioneering air links between continents and countries such as France, Spain, Morocco, and Brazil – places that remain central to our footprint today! In 1933, Aéropostale merged with Air Orient, Air Union, and Société Internationale de Navigation Aérienne, forming the Air France we know today.   As a proud partner of L’Envol des Pionniers, Latecoere continues to honor this pioneering legacy. If you visit the exhibition, tag us when you spot a piece of our shared history! 📸 #AviationHistory #NeverStopPioneering Photo credit: Air France / Christophe Oliver

Four months after launching in Toulouse, our #LeadershipProgram cohort reunited – this time in Morocco, home to one of our competence centers near Casablanca! 🇲🇦 Bringing together talented managers from across the globe, this intensive week focused on developing #leadership skills in a fast-evolving industry. Participants tackled change #management and communication challenges, refining their ability to navigate complex team dynamics. They also explored #Lean management methodologies, putting theory into practice in a real-life production setting.   A highlight of the week? A visit to our Had Soualem site, where our Moroccan teams warmly welcomed the group and shared insights into Interconnection Systems operations. The Eureka Awards ceremony made the visit even more inspiring, showcasing our teams’ spirit of innovation. This journey continues, shaping the next generation of aerospace leaders!   #NeverStopPioneering

👁️ Understanding what we talk about is always better… 👁️   With this in mind, since taking the helm at Latecoere, I have been visiting our group’s factories. Nothing beats direct interaction with the teams.   Earlier this week in Tunis, I discovered a mature site that makes remarkable use of visual management. It’s a powerful driver of continuous improvement and to sustain performance for the long-term. This facility specializes in manufacturing avionics racks and electrical harnesses, primarily for Airbus (A320, A330, A350, A400M) and ATR - an expertise that plays a key role in our industrial footprint.   It doesn’t take long to sense the energy within a management team. Here, I met a truly cohesive and experienced group - undoubtedly a key asset in successfully advancing production transfers to this site. While the process is not yet fully completed, the progress made is impressive, especially given how complex such transitions can be. This site sets a strong benchmark for our other locations - and perhaps beyond!   Among the key challenges requiring our full attention right now are inventory management and the roll out of DDMS end-to-end digital continuity (Digital Design, Manufacturing & Services). Inventory Management because it is key to succeed in the production ramp up while keeping cash consumption under control. DDMS because it becomes the new way of interfacing with Airbus - a true gateway to sustaining our collaboration.   I extend my sincere thanks to the entire team for the quality of this review and encourage everyone to continue looking out for one another. If there is one area where vigilance must never waver, it's safety. #Leadership #OperationalExcellence #Digitalisation #Aerospace #Teamwork #SafetyFirst

A Hidden Gem in Milmort, Belgium 💎 This past Friday, I had the chance to discover a true hidden gem in Milmort, Belgium. At a time when expertise loss is a critical challenge for the aerospace industry, I was truly impressed by the expertise and craftsmanship of our connecting rod engineering and production team. Passion is the word that comes to mind! In this exclusive kingdom of the rods, our skilled workers reign supreme. And for our engineers there, no innovation challenge will resist to their technical expertise. Yet another Latecoere team fully committed to ramping up production rates and prepare the future. What a privilege to have this unit as part of our group. One for all, all for one! 💪 Hervé Blanchard Guillaume Pichery Marina Khodareva Renard Pol Delcour Latecoere Belgium (TAC - Technical Airborne Components)

Honored to welcome the Bulgarian ambassador to France, Radka Balabanova-Ruleva, to Latecoere in Toulouse yesterday.   Accompanied by Ronan Le Goff, honorary consul of Bulgaria for Midi-Pyrénées and Aquitaine, she explored the behind-the-scenes of #A330 central fuselage manufacturing. Guided by site managers Amine Ayari and Jean-Louis Barbero, she gained valuable insights into our industrial expertise. As for the workshop team, they specifically requested to be in the souvenir photo alongside the Ambassador!   On this occasion, André-Hubert Roussel, CEO of Latecoere, highlighted the strategic role of our young Bulgarian site in Plovdiv within Latecoere’s global industrial footprint. The site assembles the doors for the #A320 family, positioning it at the forefront of production ramp-ups.   Ambassador Radka Balabanova-Ruleva also shared her keen interest in #aerospace professions and the future of the European industry with Perceval de Cagny, VP #Aerostructures Supply Chain.    And of course, praise for the efficiency of the CCI France Bulgarie surely echoed all the way to Sofia!

Congratulations to Boom Supersonic on the historic first supersonic flight of the XB-1! This achievement marks a major milestone in the return of commercial supersonic travel, paving the way for Overture – the next-generation supersonic airliner. We’re proud to be part of this journey, as Boom has selected Latecoere to develop the complete Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) architecture for both Overture and its Symphony engine. Supporting cutting-edge aviation programs is at the core of what we do, and we’re excited to contribute to making supersonic travel a reality once again. Well done to the Boom team on this incredible achievement – we look forward to what’s next! #SupersonicFlight #Innovation #Aerospace

Boom is supersonic. On January 28, 2025 at 8:31am PST / 16:31 GMT, XB-1 broke the sound barrier. Chief Test Pilot Tristan “Geppetto” Brandenburg safely and successfully achieved supersonic speed in XB-1, the first civil supersonic jet made in America. ✅New top speed: Mach 1.122 (652 KTAS) ✅New max altitude: 35,290 ft. ✅Flight time: 34 minutes ✅Airspace: Bell X-1 Supersonic Corridor and the Black Mountain Supersonic Corridor in Mojave, CA XB-1 demonstrates that Boom has the team, technology, and tools to deliver supersonic commercial travel with Overture, cutting travel times in half. Congratulations to the Boom team on making aviation history!
