In the competitive maritime industry, the key to sustained success lies in the ability to consistently deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers. For Aquametro, this approach has proven beneficial, as evidenced by their latest contracts to install state-of-the-art remote monitoring systems (RMS) for their long-term client, BOURBON Offshore.
This client is among the select ship managers chartered by BSP (Brunei Shell Petroleum). Under the BSP tender, Aquametro has already installed over 30 of its advanced monitoring systems RMS on various vessels managed by multiple ship managers. This significant achievement highlights Aquametro’s unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. In June, Aquametro delivered two ship sets of its RMS for the Offshore Support Vessels “Bourbon Hamos” and “Bourbon Sirocco”.
Onboard Bourbon Sirocco the Aquametro RMS is monitoring four Main Engines, two Aux Engines, two Thrusters and a Bunker Meter. To capture the high fuel usage periods, the system is monitoring the fuel consumption and power output (kW) of the engines. In addition, loading and transfer fuel lines are monitored, too.
Onboard Bourbon Hamos, the fuel consumption and power output (kW) of three Diesel Generators are monitored. Based on the monitored generator power output kW, the Aquametro RMS will calculate figures for estimated consumption recording.
All monitored values and events can be viewed and analyzed via a web portal or the FMCC app.
