For the first time in Europe, a bidirectional charging solution will be deployed at a large scale within an electric car sharing service. In #Utrecht, shared vehicles will not only be able to charge with clean energy but also reinject this energy into the grid in case of high demand. An operation made possible thanks to Mobilize V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technology, which brings 3 benefits: reduction of electricity costs, stabilization of the grid in case of high demand, and integration of more renewable energies. This project brings together 3 partners: 🚗 Renault Group will supply 500 #Renault5 100% #electric equipped with bidirectional V2G technology powered by Mobilize. 🔌 We Drive Solar, an international leader in smart charging, will install new bidirectional public chargers compatible with our V2G toolkit. 🖥️ MyWheels, the leading car sharing platform in the Netherlands, will operate the fleet. This collaboration demonstrates the power of public-private partnerships in the transition to more sustainable mobility. Recharge your fleet during events with #MobilizePowerSolutions 🚗⚡ Mobilize offers tailored solutions to facilitate the transition to electric mobility for individuals and businesses. One of these solutions is a temporary charging system to help event organizers recharge an EV fleet on site. Mobilize Power Solutions and its partner MTech Facilities created customized temporary recharging stations for the press tests of #Renault5 #Etech 100% #electric and #Alpine #A290. For the #Renault5 test drives, the layout included 24 AC 11kW charging stations and 2 DC 200 kW charging stations for a total of 60 vehicles. For #A290 we used 2 DC 40kW charging stations, and the 24-point AC system was set up in a cabinet to save space, for a fleet of 45 vehicles. For the Mobilize Duo and Mobilize Bento test drives, we implemented an adapted charging system. This layout consists in a mobile charging station with an energy storage unit that utilizes eight second-life batteries from Renault ZOE, having a capacity of 344 kWh, enabling the entire vehicle fleet to be recharged every night. This whole system is installed in the rear of Renault #Master #Etech. With this solution, participants have a flexible and customized way of recharging their vehicles during the event, even if the chosen location has no existing charging infrastructure. Once more, we managed to sneak in our 100% electric quadricycles at the largest two-wheeler trade show in the world 👀 Based in Milan, EICMA is the world’s most important two-wheeler trade fair globally. 2024 marked the 110th edition, with more than 770 exhibitors from 45 countries. From November 7 to 10, we were there to showcase our mobility solutions, including #MobilizeDuo and #MobilizeBento, our new 100% electric micro cars. Mobilize Duo is available in 2 versions: with licence accessible from 16 years old (up to 80 km/h) and without licence from 14 years old* (up to 45 km/h). Ultra-compact format, futuristic style with elytron doors, up to 161 km of range, driver airbag as standard, shareable digital key. #MobilizeBento is our new 100% electric micro van that fits everywhere thanks to its elytron doors and compact dimensions.
