SD-TDA allows the determination the hydrodynamic radius of several compounds (antibody, proteins, metallic NP...) in few minutes with an easy-to-use technology.

    How much do you know about our first-of-its-kind FLUO-EVs? As a product of genetic engineering to their parent cells, our FLUO-EVs carry EGFP, mCherry, or BFP in fusion with the common EV markers, namely CD9, CD63, and CD81. This way, they are stably fluorescent without photobleaching or non-specific binding-based background signal. This application note, built in collaboration with Nanoscale Metrix using their size distribution Taylor dispersion analysis (SD-TDA) approach, is just one of many examples on how FLUO-EVs can serve as a positive control for various different nanoanalyzers, as well as for as assay/instrument calibration. This is where Taylor Dispersion Analysis (TDA) makes all the difference. 📊 A new study, authored by Sandor Balog, Flavia Sousa, Dimitri Vanhecke, Barbara Rothen-Rutishauser, Patricia Taladriz, Roman Mmanda Fortunatus, Alke Fink at Adolphe Merkle Institute, highlights the key advantages of TDA over conventional techniques like Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) when analyzing β-carotene (βC)-loaded nanoparticles in challenging media. 🚀 Why TDA? ✅ High Resolution & Precision – TDA provides unmatched accuracy in nanoparticle size measurement, where DLS is limited. ✅ Robust Performance in Complex Media – Unlike DLS and NTA, TDA remains reliable in simulated gastrointestinal fluids. ✅ Advanced Stability Assessment – TDA’s precision enables a more accurate evaluation of bioactive encapsulant stability, crucial for assessing bioavailability. ✅ Versatility Across Nanocarriers – The study demonstrated how TDA effectively characterized PLGA nanoparticles and liposomes, revealing differences in encapsulation efficiency, stability, and release kinetics.     🧬 Article nanomedicine in HNSCC therapy by Frontiers in Pharmacology about targeted therapies that improve the clinical outcomes and survival of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck patients, a difficult-to-treat cancer due to recurrence or metastasis. 🔎 The nanomedicine is emerging as a promising strategy to achieve maximal anti-tumor effect in cancer therapy. This review summarize some important signaling pathways and present the current and potential roles of various nanomaterial drug-delivery formulations in HNSCC treatment, aiming to understand the pathogenesis of HNSCC and further improve the therapeutic efficacy of nanomaterial HNSCC. This article seeks to highlight the exciting potential of novel nanomaterials for targeted cancer therapy in HNSCC and thus provide motivation for further research in this field.
