We’re excited to share a major milestone in our partnership with TenneT: Nexans has secured the LanWin 2 project, a €1 billion agreement that strengthens our role in the offshore wind energy market in Europe.🌊💨 This ambitious project involves 250 km of advanced HVDC XLPE cables, transmitting 2 GW of renewable energy from the German North Sea to the mainland—enough to power millions of homes. LanWin 2 goes beyond being just a project—it's a clear step toward shaping Europe’s renewable energy future. From designing and manufacturing to installation, we’re focused on delivering the cables that will help bring energy from the sea to millions of homes. What a fantastic day at Nexans AmpaCity in Lyon! On January 8, we had the privilege of welcoming 40 investors to our R&D Lab—an exclusive look at how Nexans is pioneering solutions for decarbonized electrification. From an inspiring keynote with Jerome FOURNIER (EVP Innovation), Vincent Dessale (COO), and Elodie Robbe-Mouillot (VP Investor relations) to an up-close lab tour with our engineers and experts of our latest innovations, the event showcased how we are shaping tomorrow’s electrified world. AmpaCity, opened in 2022, stands as our global innovation hub, supported by nearly 1,800 active patents and around 80 new patents filed each year.
