♻ Orphoz France: Celebrating some Sustainability Achievements 🌍 Our Green Team (LES COLLECTIFS) leveraged this summer break to step back on past 12 months journey and wanted to share with the community key Sustainability outcomes 👇 🌱 Raising Awareness Beyond the popular La Fresque du Climat and 2tonnes workshops, consistently led by our skilled Orphoz facilitators, we've recently broadened our horizons with initiatives focused on climate adaptation via the Les Ateliers de l'Adaptation au Changement Climatique (AdACC). We're deeply thankful to Juliette Nouel, founder of the AdACC, for introducing our consultants to long-lasting adaptation strategies.” Exploring sustainability through visits and conferences has been profoundly enlightening. Highlights include our transformative workshop at Vestack (a pioneer in sustainable construction), our educational visit at the Campus de la Transition, and an engaging keynote with Angel Prieto during the COP28, all of which have enriched our understanding and commitment. 🤝 Cultivating Connections Fostering robust partnerships and staying abreast of cutting-edge practices is crucial. Through platforms like CarbonConnect and Tech4Climate, our team has connected with inspirational people dedicated to sustainability – from investors and founders to corporates and researchers. A key insight? Addressing sustainability challenges requires more than even robust partnerships across the entire ecosystem. Get inspired with us! 📚   Today we spoke to Thaïs from the ORPHOZ Paris office to discuss her recent book experiences. She highly recommends "The 5 Love Languages" by Gary Chapman. “I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book that, although focused on personal relationships, offers valuable lessons applicable to the workplace as well. By applying some of its concepts to a professional context, we can better understand how each of our colleagues prefers to be recognized and motivated. 👥🌟 What I take from this book is the importance of words of affirmation even in the workplace. Compliments and encouragement can work wonders for team morale. A simple verbal recognition can boost motivation. Similarly, helping a colleague with a project or doing them a favor can create a more collaborative work environment.
