I hold a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi-Engine (MEP), and Instrument Rating (IRME/IRSE PBN), having recently completed my training at CANNES AVIATION ACADEMY ATO. I am now actively seeking a First Officer position where I can leverage my skills in a new and challenging environment. My career has equipped me with a unique blend of skills, highly transferable to the aviation industry. As a Sales Director, I excelled in managing complex operations, leading cross-functional teams, and achieving ambitious targets. These roles sharpened my strategic planning, communication, and crisis management skills, critical for a successful First Officer. Last night marked a significant milestone and I thought I would share it here...   KLM-Cityhopper officially went live with SITA’s OptiClimb across all 63 of their aircraft. This is a clear example of how innovation can directly drive sustainability in aviation.   Earlier today, I received this photo from Torsten van Kouwen (https://lnkd.in/eX2XSDr4) (KLM-Cityhopper) using the OptiClimb in action.   Seeing this technology in action, optimizing fuel efficiency and reducing real-time carbon emissions flight after flight never ceases to impress me.   OptiClimb was recently tested during SkyTeam’s Aviation Challenge on a flight from Amsterdam to Valencia. With this system, KLM-Cityhopper achieved a substantial fuel savings during the climb on this flight, demonstrating how small adjustments can lead to significant environmental benefits.   The Aviation Challenge encourages airlines to adopt more sustainable practices, and our collaboration with KLM-Cityhopper is a strong example of how partnerships can lead to greener solutions.   By working together, we are proving that even small, scalable efficiencies can have a big impact. Here’s to a more sustainable future in aviation.
