Currently, our HR intern Floris is researching how we can apply AI to our HR processes, and he invited Pleunie to lead an insightful masterclass for our HR team. AI offers huge potential across all departments, and we were excited to explore its opportunities in HR. While many of us were already familiar with ChatGPT, Pleuni introduced us to even more useful tools, along with practical tips and advice on privacy settings and risks. Last thursday, more than 300 colleagues joined us for Plato's annual Christmas party. What an incredible journey it has been! 𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 You may be wondering... how did it all start? Let's take a quick trip down memory lane. It all started with our founding father, Martien Jonkers. In 1945, when he was just 21 years old, he founded his first company, Jonker's Handelsonderneming, laying the foundation for what would later become Plato Group. As the company grew, so did its ambitions. In 1992, after several moves, our headquarters found a permanent home at the Haverdijk in Helmond - the city where our story began. Since then, we've been on an incredible journey together. We've welcomed new colleagues, overcome challenges, celebrated remarkable milestones, and shared countless memorable moments. Every step of the way, our incredible colleagues have been at the center of it all 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝟖𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞! Milestones like this call for a celebration to remember, and that's exactly what we're doing with our upcoming anniversary celebration: the Grainville Festival! 🌾 Inspired by our roots, "Grainville" honors the streets around our headquarters in Helmond. These streets were once named after the grain trade. It's a tribute to where it all began. Although the festival is scheduled for next summer, the excitement is already in the air! Plato Clean up Week was packed with impactful activities that truly made a difference! From hitting the streets to collect litter to tidying up our offices, every effort counted. One of the highlights? Our 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! A space where colleagues dropped off items they no longer needed, allowing other colleagues to find new treasures. It was all about giving these items a second life, reducing waste, and conserving valuable resources. ♻️💚 But the best part? 𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿! Colleagues from all over Europe rolled up their sleeves and got involved, with each office adding its own unique touch. For example, our Copenhagen team decided to skip the Donation Station and instead collected items to donate to the local homeless café. After weeks of hard work to ensure a seamless transition, the move was celebrated last Friday with a gathering of colleagues who came together to admire the beautifully decorated office. 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲: 🌍 Did you know that the new office is only a 4 minute walk from the old office building? 🛠️ The office has been completely renovated and adapted to our specific needs! 🧩 Each brand has its own work area within the office, which offers the best of both worlds: the opportunity to work together and the maintenance of individual work areas! We wish our German team an amazing start in their new office space!
