⚠ Webinar Agenda: NGB-R Bioprinting Systems - Date: Oct 2nd Wednesday, 12 PM EST - Speaker: Fabien Guillemot, CEO Poietis - Check here: https://lnkd.in/eb9SdJwM - Register here: https://lnkd.in/ev3X_Qq4 - Abstract: The Next-Generation Bioprinting (NGB) Platform is designed to combine the advantages of Laser-Assisted Bioprinting (LAB) technology—such as high resolution and enhanced cell viability— with other bioprinting technologies like bioextrusion. This integration enables the fabrication of complex multi-cellular 3D constructs. Featuring robotic automation and innovative fluidics devices, the NGB platform enables the transition of the bioprinted products from the laboratory to the clinic. The commercial NGB-R system is designed for developing bioprinting procedures at the preclinical stage that are translatable to the clinical-ready NGB-C system. This system complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). In this webinar, we will showcase this translation capacity through bioprinting of skin and cartilaginous multicellular spheroids for building larger tissue structures. #Spheroids #TissueEngineering #HealthTech #LifeSciences #Bioprinting #Biomanufacturing

We are thrilled to share that we extended our distribution agreement with HVD Life Science Vertriebs GmbH (Part of the HVD Group of Companies) through its sister company HVD Life Sciences Hongkong in ASIA! Initially aimed to distribute our NGB-R platform in Austria and Germany, we will now collaborate together to also bring our innovative bioprinting system in Thailand, Malaysia and South-Korea, territories where HVD is present and has an extensive network in the Life Sciences community. Let's shape the future of biomedical and translational research together! #Biotech #Innovation #HealthTech #LifeSciences #Bioprinting

We are very proud to announce the recent publication of an article in Biofabrication journal, the official journal of the International Society for Biofabrication (ISBF: https://lnkd.in/dW4KTGb)! Entitled "Laser-assisted bioprinting of targeted cartilaginous spheroids for high density bottom-up tissue engineering" this work is one of the outcomes of an ongoing collaboration with KU Leuven, and completed within the H2020 JOINTPROMISE Project. Please check out the article: https://lnkd.in/e5nxvMfW In this study, we established a laser-assisted bioprinting approach using multicellular spheroids as building blocks. By taking advantage of a new target and shoot system, multilayered constructs containing high density cell spheroids were fabricated. Modular tissue engineering using multicellular spheroids shows great promise for the bioengineering of functional tissue implants; this study provides a solid foundation for further development of laser-assisted bioprinting and may revolutionize the bottom-up biofabrication of controlled living and functional tissue assemblies. Thank you to Poietis team, Gabriella Nilsson Hall, Ioannis Papantoniou and Frank Luyten at KUL! Our CEO Fabien Guillemot had the opportunity to present a webinar on Monday for the US Department of Veterans Affaires: VA Biofabrication Community of Science (BCoS): https://lnkd.in/e6JiFpkx. The speech was about "Bioprinting translation to the clinic: Example of an autologous bioprinted skin substitute manufactured with the Next-Generation Bioprinting (NGB) platform" This Monthly Series is an initiative to share VHA experience and expertise in the BioFabrication arena aimed at creating network and building up a space of reference in the field. It was an amazing audience of researchers and clinicians to discuss the bioprinting translation to the clinic and how Poietis technology and developments can open new avenues in Regenerative Medicine! Thank you to the organizers and especially Nicanor I. Moldovan and Kimberlee Potter, PhD. #bioprinting #tissueengineering #deeptech #biomanufacturing #LaserAssistedBioprinting
