“Being a member of the CSR Committee and working in an environment that values and supports social responsibility initiatives is very rewarding. It creates a sense of purpose and fulfillment as we strive to make a difference beyond our day-to-day business activities. I have been involved in some activities and initiatives. In Spain, in 2022, we supported the management of the NGO "Action Against Hunger" through a challenge in which we had to walk as many steps as possible during one month and each step translated into a donation. The best thing about these types of activities is that they help us do our part to make a difference, while working as a team. Words are not enough to realize our vision: we need action. That is why we founded the CSR Committee, our international department executing social responsibility projects to spread the culture of social responsibility worldwide. Here participate, colleagues from all over the world who, through collaboration with local associations, carry out projects to achieve the ESG objectives that we have set: Gender Equality, Good Health and Well-being, and Reduced Inequalities.
Mind your health for a positive impact
An App, a T-shirt, and a healthy sports competition was our 2023 global CSR project. More than 2,000 staff members have participated to compete for a good cause. Walking, running, swimming: all counted! Eventually, our winner Ajay Kumar, Project Manager at PQE India, has completed 1,401,702 steps, and donated the prize to a charity of his choice. Throughout the year, a campaign was implemented to help our colleagues achieve an optimal level of well-being!
