TASK™ - The Assessment of Sustainability Knowledge
Logiciel d’évaluation
TASK™ is the first international certificate of sustainability knowledge (The Assessment of Sustainability Knowledg). By establishing this global standard, Sulitest aims to create a lever for systemic change that will make the understanding of sustainability a common language for all. By design, TASK™ aims to be consistent with existing frameworks in the field of education for sustainability, such as the UNESCO SDG education learning objectives, the European GreenComp sustainability competency framework or the reference framework of the report led by Jean Jouzel for the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation "Raising Awareness and Training for the Challenges of the Ecological Transition in Higher Education". The Stockholm Institute's Planetary Boundaries, as well as Kate Raworth's "Doughnut Economics" model also serve as key references for the assessment's knowledge model.

Last week’s THE Innovation & Impact Summit in New Delhi brought together global higher education leaders to explore how innovation can address the sector’s challenges and drive societal progress. Here are a few takeaways that stood out for us: 🌏 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 Fostering interdisciplinary learning doesn’t mean abandoning specializations—it strengthens them by encouraging students to tackle complex subjects holistically. 🔑 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹—𝗯𝘂𝘁... AI is a powerful tool for improving education, but students must be able to apply and re-contextualize what they learn to truly benefit from it. Innovation must serve learning, not replace it. 💡 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 True student engagement isn’t about “Are they happy?” but rather: • “How far have we challenged our students?” • “Are they passionate about what they’re learning?” Purpose-driven, interdisciplinary education helps universities inspire students, pushing them to engage deeply with topics that matter. 🌆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 In today's world, higher education isn't just about gaining knowledge, it's about driving societal progress. Diversity and inclusion are not only moral imperatives but also powerful engines of innovation. Thanks Times Higher Education for this insightful event, and Shiv Nadar University for the warm welcome. These conversations reaffirmed the critical role of purpose-driven education in preparing students for the challenges of today and tomorrow, to which we’re happy to contribute with TASK™. If these themes resonate with you, let’s connect and explore how we can tackle these challenges together! #HigherEducation #Innovation #StudentEngagement #InterdisciplinaryLearning #LifelongLearning #Sustainability #Leadership #THEInnovationSummit #TASK

🌟 Reflecting on #QSReimagine 2024: Insights & Celebrations 🏆 TASK™ has won the QS Reimagine Education 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁! But the true value of the QS Quacquarelli Symonds event went beyond the awards—it was the 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 that made it an impactful gathering for those of us working to redefine education! Here are our key takeaways: 🔑 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 As Jerry Wind reminded us, higher education has not yet fully delivered on its responsibility to integrate sustainability into the student experience. If we are to form responsible leaders, sustainability must become a foundational element in students’ learning journeys. ⚖️ 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 In his keynote, Dr. Michael Spence explored the importance of enabling plurality and constructive disagreement on campus. Tackling sustainability requires engaging with complex systems, diverse perspectives, and uncomfortable truths. Fostering openness to disagreement is an important enabler for institutions to drive meaningful action in this space, and an important skill to teach their students. 🛤️ 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 Universities are increasingly embracing micro-credentials and stackable degrees, to add value to their programs, foster transdisciplinarity and meet the fast-evolving needs of the job market. This is the value that our community find in TASK™ too! 🌎 𝗔 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 We were happy to meet part of our TASK™ community at the conference! (👋 University of Sussex Business School, NEOMA Business School) In a conference where we were prompted to reflect on what a world would look like without universities, it was reaffirmed how much we need universities to step up and nurture more responsible graduates and more sustainable change through industry partnerships. Let’s continue pushing boundaries and driving impact together!

🧭 Guiding students through a sustainability learning journey ✨ To act for a better future, it is crucial to develop the knowledge, skills, and mindsets that will enable people to tackle sustainability challenges. To support universities in fostering this sustainability literacy, a framework like the European Commission #GreenComp can serve as a shared foundation for learners and educators to develop sustainability competences. The European Commission’s study, “Learning from practice: a compendium of case studies on GreenComp”, features practical examples on how and why diverse users have integrated Green Comps. Ulrike Pisiotis, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, shared: "By mapping 56 initiatives and diving deeper into 12 exemplary case studies, the compendium outlines best practices, lessons, and strategic recommendations for unlocking Green Comp's transformative potential. One such case is TASK™ by Sulitest, which is a standardized assessment tool aligning with the Green Comp framework and delivering a digital certificate. Like a compass, it supports learners in embedding Green Comps throughout their sustainability education journey. For educators, TASK™ offers reliable data for curriculum adaptation, cohort-specific tracking, and evidence-based curriculum design. It’s an inspiring example of how Green Comp can truly make a difference.” 💡For insights on how education and training stakeholders engage with GreenComp, what are the key challenges and enablers and the pathways of change when using GreenComp, read the European Commission publication here: https://lnkd.in/gBV5r4FP
