Following Factory and Site Acceptance tests at our Maritime Autonomy Innovation Hub at University of New Hampshire in September, the second DriX joined its counterpart already active in NOAA's fleet for dual-vehicle campaign in the Gulf of Maine during the month of October. 🌎   This campaign leverages tandem operations to advance ocean mapping techniques and optimize data collection. By deploying 2 DriX simultaneously, NOAA aims to expand coverage and enhance precision in seafloor mapping, particularly in challenging regions like the Gulf of Maine. Both DriX USVs are being remotely operated from a shore-based control center, pioneering a new operational model intended to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. 🌊 From October 8 to 10, we took our #subsea #technology expertise to Perth, Australia, where our Exail team from Singapore hosted an interactive and insightful workshop. Attendees were given an exclusive deep dive into our inertial navigation systems (#INS) and our #USBL and #LBL positioning solutions, with a special focus on #Ramses transceiver, #Canopus transponder, and Delph SP software, showcasing how these cutting-edge technologies are revolutionizing subsea operations. Over 3️ days, we had the pleasure of connecting with more than 3️⃣0️⃣ clients, including leading industry players such as Nortek, Fugro, DOF, @Kongsberg, MMA Offshore, Woodside Energy, INPEX Australia, Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, Unique Group, Saipem, Hydrosight, Matrix Composites & Engineering, Ocean Infinity, Reach Subsea and Curtin University. The energy was fantastic ✨, with lively discussions 💬, thoughtful questions ❓, and strong interest in our solutions, pointing to exciting opportunities ahead 🚀. Our teams were in full swing throughout the Sea Tech Week, with a packed schedule of demos and presentations. Here are some of the key moments: ➡️ #LBL demo aboard the Céladon: we demonstrated the power of our LBL positioning systems in real-world trajectory applications. ➡️ #Gaps #USBL demos: we showcased the precision and reliability of our USBL technology for underwater positioning. ➡️ Workshop on "Autonomous monitoring from surface to seabed": engaging discussions on the future of autonomous technologies covering everything from seabed exploration to surface operations.
