Un grand pas pour la transition #énergétique dans l’Allier ! ☀️ À Bayet, les 58 200 #panneauxsolaires, répartis sur 40 hectares, produisent désormais 41 GWh d’électricité ⚡ bas carbone par an, alimentant ainsi l’équivalent de la consommation #électrique de 24 000 habitants, hors chauffage. 🏘️ Cette centrale, mise en service depuis quelques semaines, a relevé de nombreux défis tout au long de sa #construction : 1️⃣ Préserver les vestiges #archéologiques grâce à des fondations en longrines béton. 2️⃣ Faire preuve de vigilance et de coordination en raison de sa proximité avec la centrale à cycle combinée gaz de TotalEnergies, du poste source et des lignes à haute tension aériennes sur le site. En 2024, TotalEnergies a également soutenu le projet #pédagogique de l’association amicale laïque de l’école de Bayet. Ce projet a notamment permis de #valoriser des arbres en fin de vie grâce aux sculptures de Laurent germond. Elles permettent ainsi d’agrémenter un espace devant le « Jardin des sens » en face l’école de Bayet. On se retrouve en mai pour l’inauguration de la centrale ✂️

PPA: The acronym of the day! 🎉 TotalEnergies has signed a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (#PPA) with STMicroelectronics, a global leader in semiconductors! This agreement will supply 1.5 TWh of renewable electricity to STMicroelectronics’ sites in France. 🔋 The renewable power will come from two recently commissioned wind and solar farms (75 MW) operated by TotalEnergies. Why it matters: 🤝 This partnership supports STMicroelectronics’ goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2027, with 100% renewable energy powering its operations. 💡 It underscores our commitment to providing innovative, long-term clean energy solutions that empower businesses to achieve their sustainability goals. 🔢 Seagreen Wind Farm: By the Numbers 🔢 Have you heard of Seagreen offshore wind farm, Scotland’s largest, by TotalEnergies and its partners SSE Renewables and PTTEP? Here’s a look at the project’s impact by the numbers: 🌊 27 km: Distance from the coast of Angus, Scotland, to the Seagreen wind farm in the #NorthSea. This location captures some of the world’s strongest and most consistent sea winds, perfect for generating #power. ⚙️ 114 turbines: Now fully operational as of October 2023, each turbine stands up to 204 meters tall, harnessing more wind to produce #energy for the UK. 🏡 1.6 million homes: That’s the number of UK households powered by Seagreen’s renewable energy—equivalent to two-thirds of all Scottish homes! 📅 25 years: The expected lifetime of the #Seagreen project, supporting Scotland’s 2045 net zero goals with sustainable energy for generations. ➡️ Check out more here: https://lnkd.in/e5JrEgng
