WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED! We booked an oceanfront bungalow and the supervisor ”upgraded ” us to an Oceanfront deluxe villa when we arrived because it was our honeymoon. The fridge did not close all the way, the coffee machine was broken, the jacuzzi bathtub didnt work at all, only the shower, the wifi did not work in the room at all, the tv had three stations that were fuzzy with poor connection, you could not access netflix, etc. ANNNND the worst part, it that there is a night club directly across the street that plays literally ground shaking music until 4am! I used ear plugs and it still didnt cover the noise and I could feel my bed vibrating from how loud it was. The manage , nor the description of the hotel tells you about this noise and they dont even provide ear plugs!! We complained to the manger via email and so they had us change rooms to a pool view. This was out honeymoon and we are surfers, so we only booked this hotel for the oceanview. We asked if we could have the oceanview room still in order to have the view and they let us, but this only lasted for two days before we grew tired of going up and down the stairs and back and forth between the two rooms, just to see the ocean. We told them that we were completely checking out of the ocean view room because it was too uncomfortable to go back and forth and asked for a partial refund due to the inconvenience and because we would now not have an oceanfront room on our honeymoon and that we would have never booked there to start with if they would have been upfront about the loud noise and wrote a disclaimer. The manager told us that they couldnt put us in an oceanfront room because they all are extremely loud due to the club across the street and they refunded us $30. I originally spent $560, so $30 felt like nothing when thinking of the other places we could have stayed. So we stayed in the pool view room because it had working wifi and a better tv. With 4 days left in our week long stay, there was a very heavy rain and the roof in our new room leaked & completely soaked all of our clothes and suitcases that was on that side of the bed. I went to cook some breakfast and electrocuted myself that morning because the roof had also leaked into the cooking area and burners. We immediately went to seek management and they said that the manger is not on the property except Monday through Friday and only for 3-4 hours on those days. We asked to have the manger Angela contact us and got her email. We emailed her and told her about the giant leak in the ceiling in multiple areas of the room and that I had electrocuted myself. No reply. Noone came to clean up the leak. We emailed again. No response and noone came to clean up the leak for the duration of our stay. TO MAKE IT WORSE, the hotel crew began doing construction work on the room next door to us and also the room below us. Loud, nonstop hammering that was impossible to ignore. So I emailed management again(because they were not on
