The travel grant amount is up to 1,000 euros (equivalent in GEL). 💡 Clean Aviation PITCH-ATHLON: Pitch & Connect This event, Clean Aviation, is an excellent opportunity for those interested in presenting their ideas related to Call 3 topics. 🎯 Who can participate?   • 📍 On December 10, 2024, Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia held an information meeting at Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG). 🔶 The meeting was opened by Levan Khetsuriani, Head of the Horizon Europe National Office, who provided an overview of the program’s objectives, key functions, and main areas of focus. 🔷 During the information meeting, Ana Goletiani, National Contact Person for the European Innovation Council (EIC), the European Innovation Ecosystems (EIE), the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) and the New European Bauhaus (NEB), discussed the 2025 calls and updates on the ''Innovative Europe'' pillar. Nino Rodonaia, National Contact Person for Widening and ERA, presented information on widening-oriented calls - Teaming for Excellence and Excellence Hubs. Shorena Beridze, National Contact Point for legal and financial matters, provided details on the general and specific budget conditions. 🔶 The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, where participants received thorough answers to their inquiries.

  • 📍 Due to significant interest, we are pleased to share an overview of the Health Cluster informational day organized by the Horizon Europe National Office on June 11, 2024, along with a link to the event recording. 🔶 The meeting was opened by Levan Khetsuriani, head of Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia. 🔷 Throughout the session, Nino Nanava, National Contact Point for the Health Cluster, provided a detailed review of the health-related calls. Shorena Beridze, National Contact Point for legal and financial matters, delivered a presentation on Pre-Commercial Procurement.   • 📍 From November 26 to 28, Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia successfully organized a three-day "AI Bootcamp for Research Managers" at Georgian Technical University in a hybrid format. The event welcomed participants from various international organizations. 👨🏫 The training was led by Avi Staiman, an experienced expert from Israel with extensive practical knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence. As a result of the bootcamp, participants gained practical skills and knowledge about modern AI platforms and techniques for their effective application in practice. 📃 All attendees will receive online certificates to acknowledge their participation and achievements!

  • 📌 Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia is pleased to announce the availability of travel grants for Georgian researchers interested in participating in Brokerage Events. Grants up to €1,000 per applicant are awarded from the budget of the NCP_WIDERA.NET project financed by the European Commission. The aim is to promote and increase the participation of potential Georgian applicants in Horizon Europe Pillar 2 clusters calls. 🚀 Brokerage Event: Successful R & I in Europe 2025 - 12th European Networking Event 🔶 The conference invites researchers and entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia and all other regions throughout Europe to find new research and innovation (R&I) partners for Horizon Europe projects. 🔷 Participants are invited to give a short presentation (ideas and/or results) with a focus on Horizon Europe calls, where a budget of approx. € 95.5 billion is available up until 2027. 📅 Date: 6th - 7th March 2025 📍 Place: Van der Valk Airporthotel, Düsseldorf, Germany 🗣 Language: English 📄 The networking event is structured in parallel workshops focusing on eight topics: Cluster 1: Health Cluster 2: Creative Industries Cluster 4: Digital Technologies Cluster 4: Industrial Technologies Cluster 5: Energy Cluster 5: Mobility Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment Innovation Procurement (PCP/PPI) 🏢 The event addresses in particular universities and research institutes as well as companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. Participants are invited to become involved in established and new technology networks between researchers, entrepreneurs and multipliers related to Horizon Europe. 💰 Conference fee: € 150 (€ 120 one day) per person including VAT. Invoices will be dispatched in February 2025 before the event. 🎤 Free participation for speakers in sessions 1 to 4. ❗ The organizer does not cover travel, hotel, or other expenses. The conference fee includes dinner on 6 March, lunch on 7 March, drinks during breaks, and the airport-venue shuttle (as provided). ❗ Registration is binding.
