Tamazi Toloraia lived through Georgia’s civil war, when even getting bread required standing in long queues under gunfire. Later, he emigrated to Ukraine with his wife and two children. His family lived in the Luhansk region and Kharkiv before settling in Kyiv, where they were on February 24, 2022. After enduring a month of bombings, Tamazi managed to bring his immobile wife through Lviv and Warsaw back to his native Georgia. Today, he is 77 years old. Just Help is a project that provides assistance in the medical, psychological, and social spheres to people affected by military actions, residing in Georgia. OUR ACTIVITIES 1️⃣ MEDICATION ASSISTANCE We accept requests for medications from Ukrainians, process them together with doctors and pharmacists, and then provide the necessary and medically approved drugs by a certain deadline. Primarily, we supply medications for ongoing therapy and occasionally for emergency cases. If needed, we also arrange the delivery of medications. 2️⃣ PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT Our team includes volunteer psychologists with specialized education. They hold both individual and group sessions for Ukrainian refugees as well as for our project volunteers. 3️⃣ INFORMATION SUPPORT We offer information about adaptation and life in Georgia and other countries, medical support, and more. We continue to maintain and update it so that the information is always relevant and helps those who need it. 👥 MORE ABOUT US Most of our team members are volunteers from Emigration for Action, a project that helped Ukrainian refugees in Georgia from April 2022 to November 2024 and brought together a Russian-speaking community with anti-war views.
